Seabourn Sets 18 Alaska and British Columbia Sailings for 2027

Seabourn will operate 18 Alaska and British Columbia departures aboard Seabourn Encore between May and September 2027. The program spans five itineraries of seven to 15 days, with an optional eight-day Denali land extension available before select southbound cruises.

The deployment retains the same voyage count as Seabourn’s 2026 Alaska season while covering 15 ports and two UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Each sailing will include scenic cruising at Glacier Bay, Hubbard Glacier, Tracy Arm or Endicott Arm.

The itineraries will travel through Alaska and Canada’s Inside Passage, incorporating Glacier Bay National Park and Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. Seabourn will combine calls at coastal communities with remote-waterway cruising and optional kayak and Zodiac excursions.

“Alaska has stood out among destinations that Seabourn guests can’t get enough of,” Seabourn President Mark Tamis said. He said the 2027 program would focus on the region’s wildlife, landscapes, history and coastal communities.

Denali extension pairs with southbound sailings

The Denali Experience, a seven-night Seabourn Journey, will be offered before selected cruises from Juneau to Vancouver. The land program begins in Anchorage and includes a rail journey into Alaska’s interior, guided activities in Denali National Park and Preserve, and flightseeing over the park’s more than six million acres.

The program also stops at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center in Portage Valley, where animals include lynx, moose, brown bears and wood bison. The itinerary concludes with dinner at Tracy’s King Crab Shack on Juneau’s downtown waterfront.

The package includes hotel stays, daily dining, ground transportation, airport transfers and guides. It will be available throughout the 2027 season.

Kayak and Zodiac program returns

Ventures by Seabourn will again provide optional excursions led by an expedition team that includes naturalists, scientists, historians and wildlife specialists. Kayaks and Zodiacs carried aboard Encore can be launched directly from the ship for guided trips in fjords, coves and glacier areas.

More than 9,000 guests participated in Ventures excursions during Encore’s 2026 Alaska deployment, which comprised 18 voyages and calls at 17 destinations. The program, first introduced in 2013, is offered on Seabourn’s Alaska cruises and also includes educational commentary from the onboard team.

All guests on the 2027 Alaska sailings will receive a Helly Hansen all-weather jacket. Seabourn will provide Swarovski Optik binoculars for use by passengers booked in Premium Suites.

Regional menus continue for 2027

Seabourn will retain the Alaska-focused culinary program introduced during the 2026 season, using locally sourced seafood and foraged ingredients. Scheduled dining events include the Alaskan Seafood Boil, Fisherman’s Table, Midnight Sun Dinner and Surf & Sear Sailaway.

The beverage offering will also return with cocktails such as Glacier Fir and Inside Passage Punch, made with regional ingredients and Alaska glacial ice.
