Scenic Details Two 2027 Antarctica Voyages From Buenos Aires

Scenic Group is promoting two roundtrip Buenos Aires Antarctica departures for February 2027, with fares starting at $24,780 for Antarctica in Depth on February 6 and $39,640 for Antarctica, South Georgia & Falkland Islands on February 17. The program names Scenic Eclipse and Scenic Eclipse II and pairs the voyages with a Discovery Team of polar specialists, naturalists and historians.

Scenic specified Scenic Eclipse, a Polar Class 6 discovery yacht, for the South Georgia and Falkland Islands voyage; a vessel assignment for the February 6 Antarctica in Depth departure was not included.

Landings, Zodiacs and king penguins

The February program covers guided shore landings, Zodiac operations and onboard viewing, and the line named the polar plunge among the experiences available during the voyages. Scenic Eclipse carries two helicopters and a seven-person submersible.

“One moment you're watching a whale surface alongside the yacht, the next you're standing in complete silence surrounded by glaciers,” said Robert Castro, vice president of marketing, Scenic Group USA & LATAM.

The February 17 itinerary adds South Georgia, where the line said guests may encounter king penguin colonies on black-sand beaches as well as elephant seals and fur seals along the shoreline. The Falkland Islands are included in the same voyage, though Scenic did not provide port-by-port detail in the announcement.

Antarctica also featured in Scenic’s summer sale

Scenic’s third Summer Black Friday sale ran July 20 through August 3, 2026, offering up to 40 percent off full fares on select Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and Emerald Cruises & Tours departures, and listing Antarctica in Depth among selected Scenic itineraries.

The promotion applied only to new bookings under offer code SUMMERBF, with solo offers subject to capacity controls and additional restrictions. Scenic did not identify the February 6, 2027 Antarctica in Depth departure by date in that sale notice.
