Regent Adds 56 Holiday Excursions to 2026 Europe Sailings

Seven Seas Prestige’s December 13, 2026 maiden voyage from Barcelona includes a Malaga excursion with a zambombada flamenco performance.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises will add 56 holiday shore excursions and five multi-day pre- and post-cruise land programs for the 2026 festive season, with the new product offered on select Seven Seas Navigator, Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Prestige sailings in Europe. The additions include excursions on Seven Seas Prestige’s Dec. 13, 2026, maiden voyage from Barcelona, while the new land programs are available only on Seven Seas Navigator itineraries during Regent’s first full winter season in the Mediterranean.

The seasonal program concentrates on Christmas markets, local holiday customs and regional food traditions in Mediterranean ports. It also adds to Regent’s broader fare-included excursion inventory, which covers more than 4,500 tours in more than 550 ports worldwide.

“There really is no better way to celebrate the holiday season than with an ultra-luxury cruise with Regent,” said Wesley D’Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “The passion and traditions of the Mediterranean are in full force during the Christmas season.”

The Seven Seas Navigator land programs are three-night packages tied to the 490-guest ship’s Mediterranean schedule. In Spain, Holiday Magic in Catalonia runs Dec. 4-7 before the 14-night Southern Mediterranean Sojourn from Barcelona to Rome (Civitavecchia), with visits to Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, Montjuic and the Spanish Village, followed by a day trip to Girona.

Two Rome-based programs are connected to the Dec. 21 Spice Trail Sail from Rome (Civitavecchia) to Athens (Piraeus). Holiday Magic in Rome and Viterbo includes Vatican City, Rome and Viterbo’s Christmas market, while Tuscany’s Winter Magic takes guests to Florence, Val d’Orcia, Pienza and Montepulciano’s Christmas market before ending in Rome.

Shore excursions tie port calls to holiday customs

On the 14-night Felices Fiestas voyage of Seven Seas Prestige, Regent’s seventh ship and the first in its Prestige Class, the Malaga excursion includes a walking tour linked to the Nativity Scene on Malaga Cathedral’s facade, a private zambombada flamenco performance and a stop at Paseo del Parque Christmas Market.

Seven Seas Voyager’s 10-night Turkish Treasures sailing, departing Nov. 27, includes a Limassol walking experience beginning at Heroes’ Square and continuing past Limassol Town Hall and Agia Napa Cathedral before visits to Limassol Castle, the Old Port and Limassol Marina.

On Seven Seas Navigator’s Southern Mediterranean Sojourn, the Marseille excursion is centered on Provence’s 13 Desserts of Christmas. The itinerary starts in Le Panier, Marseille’s oldest district. It continues to L’Esperantine for a tasting of traditional holiday sweets.
