Princess Cruises Launches Blue Friday Sale With Up to 50% Off
Selected sailings include free cruise fares for third and fourth guests, excluding taxes and fees; examples range from Seattle's Inside Passage to Sydney-Auckland.
Princess Cruises launched its annual “Blue Friday” sale on November 6, 2026, offering up to 50% off cruise fares and up to $400 in instant savings on selected voyages. The booking window runs through December 7.
Past guests will have access to a private Black Friday offer from November 13–23, with up to $800 off and deposits reduced by 50%. Both promotions include free cruise fares for third and fourth guests on selected sailings, although taxes and fees remain payable.
The offers cover destinations including Alaska, Northern Europe, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. The private sale carries the same maximum percentage discount on cruise fares as the broader promotion; restrictions and standard booking terms apply.
“The holidays remind us that the most meaningful gifts aren't things, but the experiences and memories we share with the people we love,” said Marie Lee, chief marketing officer of Princess Cruises.
Selected departures span five regions
Princess’s sample itineraries include two seven-day, round-trip departures from U.S. homeports early in 2027. Star Princess will sail a Western Caribbean itinerary including Mexico from Fort Lauderdale on February 27, while Discovery Princess will depart Los Angeles for the Mexican Riviera on March 13.
For Alaska, the promotion includes Star Princess’s seven-day Inside Passage sailing from Seattle on May 9. In Europe, Sun Princess will depart Rome on August 22 for a seven-day Mediterranean voyage ending in Athens, with visits in Italy and Turkey.
The longest of the advertised examples is a 15-day Australia and New Zealand voyage aboard Sapphire Princess, departing Sydney on October 26 and ending in Auckland.
Other Black Friday offers
Margaritaville at Sea’s earlier holiday promotion ran from October 14 through November 3, advertising 65% off cruise fares, five percentage points above the discount planned for Black Friday itself. That offer also included fares starting at $49 per person per night, potential instant savings of up to $2,000 and discounts of up to 55% on selected onboard purchases and excursions.
The operator also advertised launch pricing of $2,499 for two adults for its 2027 Annual Cruise Membership, a $200 reduction. The membership covers eligible sailings aboard Paradise, Islander and Beachcomber, with accommodations up to balcony category. Beachcomber is scheduled to enter service from PortMiami in January 2027.
Celebrity Cruises has set a November 19–December 1 booking window for its own Black Friday promotion, with savings of up to £1,000 per stateroom. The additional discount sits alongside its existing offer of 75% off the second guest’s cruise fare and applicable air offers; the amount varies by accommodation category and voyage length.
Celebrity’s eligibility dates extend from November 20, 2026, through April 30, 2029. Galapagos and Celebrity River sailings are excluded.
