Uniworld Adds Free Hotel Stays to Select 2027 Europe River Cruises
Uniworld says four ships are due to join its fleet next year in what it has described as its largest fleet expansion, including Audrey and Marlene.
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has opened a Complimentary Land Offer that adds a pre- or post-cruise hotel stay at no extra cost to select 2027 sailings for new bookings made by Aug. 31. The promotion applies to six Europe river itineraries, including programs on the Douro, Danube and in the Venice region.
Four ships are due to join the fleet next year, in what Uniworld has described as its largest fleet expansion. The company recently released renderings for two of those ships, Audrey and Marlene.
Eligible 2027 programs
The Complimentary Land Offer applies to select sailings on the following itineraries:
- Portugal, Spain & the Douro River Valley
- Slovenia, Venice & Jewels of Veneto
- Delightful Danube & Prague
- Danube Grandeur & Prague
- Vienna & Capital Cities of the Danube
- Vineyards & Palaces along the Danube & Prague
The Douro itinerary offers access to one of Europe’s oldest wine regions. The Danube-and-Prague programs combine capital-city calls with smaller destinations.
The announcement did not name the hotel properties, specify the number of included nights or list the individual departure dates covered by the promotion. It also did not include starting fares or a named executive statement.
Timed offers across cruise brands
Other cruise brands are also running deadline-based sales. Norwegian Cruise Line’s Semi-Annual Sale includes 50% off all cruises and free prepaid gratuities on select balcony-and-above sailings. Latitudes members receive early access July 8 and 9 before the offer opens more widely July 10.
Costa Cruises is offering North American residents up to $500 per cabin and up to 30% off its My Drinks beverage package on select 2026 and 2027 departures when booked by Aug. 9. Seabourn’s Exploration Awaits Event includes savings of up to 15% and reduced deposits on select ocean and expedition sailings extending into early 2029. Star Clippers is offering two shore excursions and a 3GB Wi-Fi package on select early-2028 Caribbean and Central America sailings for North American and Latin American residents.
Uniworld, part of The Travel Corporation since 2004, has operated since 1976. Funds managed by Apollo Global Management acquired TTC in July 2024.
