Star Clippers Adds Turkish Riviera Cruises for 2027
At Kekova, the coastline includes coves, islands and ancient Lycian remains; the northbound route also calls at Bozcaada before Istanbul.
Star Clippers will add 10- and 11-night Turkish Riviera voyages to its 2027 Eastern Mediterranean program, sailing between Istanbul and Antalya aboard the 170-passenger Star Flyer. Four departures are scheduled between May and August, with starting prices ranging from $3,350 to $3,740.
The longer coastal itineraries are part of the company’s expanded 2027-28 Mediterranean program, which adds 27 ports across Turkey, Greece, Croatia and southern Italy. The Turkish voyages combine smaller coastal destinations with calls in the Greek islands.
“There is extraordinary history here, but there is also this wonderful connection between the landscape, the sea and everyday life in the coastal towns,” said Terri Haas, Star Clippers’ vice president of sales and marketing for the Americas. Haas said the passage under sail is central to the experience.
Southbound sailings include Samos and Patmos
The 11-night Istanbul-to-Antalya itinerary will depart May 29 and July 24, 2027. Fares start at $3,740 per person based on double occupancy.
Star Flyer will sail first to Dikili, which provides access to the ancient city of Pergamon, before continuing to Cesme. The ship then crosses to the Greek islands of Samos and Patmos and returns to Turkey at Datca, on the peninsula separating the Aegean and Mediterranean seas.
Additional Turkish calls include the Dalyan River, Fethiye and Kas. The itinerary then visits Kastellorizo, a small Greek island near the Turkish coast, before arriving in Antalya.
Northbound route adds Kekova and Bozcaada
The 10-night Antalya-to-Istanbul sailings depart June 9 and August 4, 2027, with prices starting at $3,350. The northbound itinerary adds Kekova, where the coastline includes coves, islands and ancient Lycian remains.
After Kekova, Star Flyer will visit Fethiye and the Dalyan River before crossing to the Greek islands of Symi and Patmos. The ship returns to Turkey for calls at Cesme and Bozcaada before reaching Istanbul. The northbound route is not an exact reversal of the southbound sailing.
Seven-night cruises add further Turkish calls
Star Clippers will also offer two seven-night Eastern Mediterranean itineraries featuring Turkish ports. The Yachtsman’s Paradise voyage departs Istanbul for Athens on Aug. 14, 2027, calling at Dikili before continuing through the northern Aegean. Delightful Dervishes sails from Athens to Istanbul on July 17, with calls at Dikili and Bozcaada.
Other Greek-focused sailings will call at Cesme, Bodrum, Fethiye and Kusadasi, the port used for visits to Ephesus. Starting prices for the seven-night cruises are $2,500.
The broader Mediterranean expansion includes new calls at Skiros, Skopelos, Karpathos and Astypalea in Greece; Korcula, Komiza, Trogir and Sibenik in Croatia; and Monopoli and Crotone in southern Italy. Additional seven-night Star Flyer programs include Eternal Cyclades, visiting Milos, Santorini, Amorgos and Hydra, and Authentic Greek Escape, which calls at Astypalea and Sifnos.
Star Clippers is offering savings of up to 65% on sailings booked by Sept. 30, 2026, along with up to $500 per cabin in onboard credit. A complimentary bottle of champagne is included on select departures covered by the promotion.
