Seven Seas Voyager Opens Northern Europe Season From Southampton
Voyager’s twenty-night Isles of Myth and Magnificence voyage is scheduled roundtrip from Southampton, with fourteen destinations and an overnight in Seydisfjordur.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ Seven Seas Voyager has arrived in Northern Europe after a Mediterranean deployment, opening a late-summer program from Southampton built around the British Isles, Iceland, Scandinavia and the North Sea. The ship began the move in late July on a 14-night Lisbon-to-Southampton repositioning cruise with calls in Portugal, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Overnight calls are scheduled in every destination on the Lisbon-to-Southampton sailing. Voyager joins Seven Seas Navigator in the region. Navigator is sailing its final regional season for Regent.
Voyager schedule centers on Southampton
Voyager’s repositioning itinerary included Bordeaux, Le Havre, Zeebrugge and IJmuiden among its calls before reaching the United Kingdom. Regent is using the ship for a series of itineraries from Southampton and other regional ports.
The 20-night “Isles of Myth & Magnificence” voyage is scheduled to sail roundtrip from Southampton in mid-August. The cruise includes 14 destinations across the British Isles and Iceland, with an overnight call in Seydisfjordur and visits to island and archipelago destinations including the Shetlands, the Faroes, the Hebrides and the Westman Islands.
Built in 2003 by T. Mariotti in Genoa, Seven Seas Voyager measures 42,363 gross tons and 670 feet in length, with published capacity of about 700 guests and roughly 450 crew. The vessel is 94.5 feet wide and operates with nine passenger decks.
Navigator’s farewell season overlaps in the region
Seven Seas Navigator also shifted north in July, completing a 14-night Barcelona-to-Dover repositioning cruise on July 19, 2026. The 1999-built, 490-passenger ship is operating nine- to 15-night itineraries from the United Kingdom, Sweden and France before returning to the Mediterranean in August.
Navigator’s regional schedule includes a nine-night Dover-to-Stockholm cruise calling at Copenhagen and Oslo, with overnight stays in each port, followed by a 15-night Stockholm-to-Le Havre itinerary through the Baltic and North Sea. A subsequent 12-night Le Havre-to-Barcelona cruise includes Western Europe and Iberian Coast calls such as St. Malo, La Coruna and Lisbon.
The ship is scheduled to continue sailing in the Mediterranean through early 2027, followed by itineraries in Africa, Asia and Australia before its handover to Avora Residences in late 2027. Backed by Villa Vie Residences, the project calls for Navigator to be converted into a residential vessel operating continuous world cruises with owned staterooms.
Voyager’s Northern Europe season is due to end in late September with a repositioning voyage to Barcelona. The ship is then slated for a fall Mediterranean program before moving to Africa and Indian Ocean itineraries for the winter.
