Seven Seas Prestige to Debut Regent’s Largest Fitness Center
The eight hundred twenty-two-guest Prestige-class ship will have ten treatment rooms and a thermal suite with a snow room, plus Technogym’s Mywellness platform.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises will introduce its largest fitness center, first salt room and an expanded menu of longevity treatments aboard Seven Seas Prestige when the ship enters service in December 2026. The wellness facilities will include 10 treatment rooms and a private gym inside the Skyview Regent Suite.
The 6,006-square-foot fitness center will be the largest Regent has installed on a ship. Seven Seas Prestige, the inaugural vessel in the line’s new Prestige class, will accommodate 822 guests in 411 balcony suites.
“Wellness has become a cornerstone of the Regent experience for many of our guests,” said Wesley D’Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. He said the facilities and treatment technologies were selected to help guests leave the ship feeling renewed.
Salt room and expanded treatment menu
The Serene Spa & Wellness complex on Deck 4 will have dedicated rooms for acupuncture and Medi-Spa services, as well as a couples’ treatment room. Its complimentary thermal suite will contain the new salt room, saunas, steam rooms, a hydrotherapy pool, an aroma room, a snow room, experience showers and heated loungers.
A separate salon will have three hair stations, one barber station and two stations for manicures and pedicures. Spa treatments, salon appointments and other services will carry an additional charge.
The treatment menu will include the Around the World Massage, Brazilian Bamboo Massage and Mediterranean Seaweed Wrap, along with other massages, facials, body therapies and beauty services. Regent also plans to offer Niagen NAD+ Longevity IV therapy, LED-assisted acupuncture, Plated Exosomes Serum and portable skin analysis using the NEXA imaging system.
Thermage FLX and truSculpt technologies will be available for skin-tightening and body-contouring services. The salon menu will add Keratin hair therapy and brow and lash services from Nouveau. ELEMIS remains Regent’s spa partner and is also involved in the line’s Spotlight on Wellness & Longevity voyage.
Technogym equipment and digital training
Regent said Seven Seas Prestige will be among the first ships fitted throughout with Technogym’s Sand Stone Collection. Equipment will include treadmills and dumbbells. The gym will have separate areas for cardio and strength training, plus spaces for yoga, Pilates, stretching and cycling classes.
The ship will also be the first in the Regent fleet to offer Technogym’s Mywellness platform. Guests will be able to access customized workout programs, record results and view on-demand classes, with training data connected to compatible Technogym equipment.
Private facilities in the top suite
The Skyview Regent Suite will have a 161-square-foot private gym equipped by Technogym. Guests booked in the suite will also receive two complimentary Serene Spa & Wellness services each day, delivered either in the suite or in the ship’s spa.
Preparing for the maiden cruise
At 76,550 gross tons and 843 feet long, Seven Seas Prestige is Regent’s first new ship class in 10 years. The vessel will operate with 630 crew members.
Chief Engineer Germain Bouvet is overseeing the ship’s technical construction at Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard. Captain Luksa Kristovic will command the vessel with a senior team whose members have more than 150 years of combined maritime and hospitality experience; the maiden cruise is scheduled to depart Dec. 13.
