Regent Launches Invite-Only Council for Top Travel Advisors
Regent’s move underscores how luxury cruise brands are leaning on elite travel advisors as competition for affluent guests depends on trusted, high-touch sales channels.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises is launching a Travel Partner Council under its Regent Elevate Travel Advisor program, adding an invitation-only recognition structure for the line’s strongest agency and advisor producers. The council has three levels: Elevate Council, Elevate Council Elite and Elevate Premier Advisor, with Elevate Premier Advisor limited to Regent’s top 25 individual producers.
The program gives selected partners earlier sales information, priority service channels, event invitations, incentive opportunities and recognition tied to their work with the brand. Elevate Council and Elevate Council Elite are based on agency revenue production. Elevate Premier Advisor recognizes individual advisor production.
What council members receive
Wesley D Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, said the council is “a meaningful step forward” in how the line recognizes and invests in agency and advisor partners. “These travel professionals are central to our success,” D Silva said, adding that the program is intended to honor their contributions while supporting continued growth.
Members will receive advance notice of upcoming programs and promotions, as well as access to council survey results and insights for business planning. Regent also plans priority reservations and guest relations access for council members, along with exclusive incentives and specialized promotions.
Some benefits are tied directly to Regent’s seven-ship fleet, including invitations to ship inaugurals and special events. When council members sail with the brand, they may receive recognition letters and in-suite gifts, and Regent said annual advisor and agency recognition awards will be given to top partners.
Council expands the Regent Elevate structure
The Travel Partner Council sits within Regent Elevate, the line’s broader advisor program organized around Elevated Insights, Elevated Support and Elevated Growth. Other Elevate elements include training and education through the revamped RSSC University, sales and marketing resources through Marketing Central, and bonus commission opportunities, including a $200 double bonus commission for new bookings submitted within 120 days after completing a degree.
The broader program also includes scholarships through The Travel Institute for 100 advisors pursuing CTA certification, along with advisor incentives and access to sales tools, marketing collateral and an advisor portal.
“Our Travel Advisor Partners are extraordinarily important to Regent,” said Shawn Tubman, chief sales officer at Regent. He said the council reinforces the line’s commitment to advisor success through the wider Regent Elevate program.
Regent did not name the agencies or advisors selected for the inaugural council, and the program is not structured as open enrollment.
