Princess Cruises Expands Sanctuary Collection to Five Ships in 2027
Guests who booked Reserve Collection accommodations on Royal Princess before October 22, 2026, will receive added Sanctuary benefits at no extra charge, excluding Princess Premier.
Princess Cruises will expand its Sanctuary Collection to five Royal Class ships in 2027, extending private onboard spaces, dedicated dining and bundled amenities to selected suites and staterooms. Bookings opened October 22, 2026, for Royal Princess, where the collection will debut on a 12-day South Pacific cruise departing Sydney on January 4, 2027.
The collection was introduced on Sun Princess and Star Princess. Its extension to existing Royal Class vessels is the first phase of Princess’ multiyear fleet modernization program and will include newly constructed oceanview staterooms.
The expansion “allows more guests to enjoy the privacy, personalized service and premium amenities they would expect from an intimate luxury resort,” said Princess Cruises President Gus Antorcha.
Guests who reserved Reserve Collection accommodations on Royal Princess before October 22, 2026, will receive the additional Sanctuary Collection benefits without an extra charge, but that complimentary change will not include Princess Premier. Princess has not confirmed whether existing reservations on the other four ships will receive similar treatment.
New Sanctuary Collection bookings made once sales open for each ship will include Princess Premier. The package covers unlimited premium beverages, Wi-Fi, specialty restaurants and casual dining, along with crew appreciation charges. Room service and OceanNow delivery are also included.
Purchased separately on these ships, Princess Premier costs $105 per person per day when booked at least 96 hours before departure, or $110 onboard. Those package rates are separate from the price of Sanctuary Collection accommodations.
Private spaces and suite-only benefits
The expanded collection will give guests access to the Sanctuary Club, with private lounge and social areas, dedicated service and a pool area. Poolside food and drinks service and upgraded loungers are included, while shaded cabanas will carry an additional charge.
Dining access will include the Sanctuary Restaurant, reserved for collection guests and serving menus drawing on destinations visited by Princess. Other collection benefits include reservation priority, enhanced in-room amenities and daily programming tailored to participating guests.
Suite passengers will also have a dedicated suite concierge to assist with restaurant bookings, entertainment and other onboard arrangements, while a separate Suite Lounge will provide refreshments and concierge assistance.
Collection guests will retain access to the ships’ other restaurants, entertainment venues and activities.
Sales dates and first departures
The remaining four ships will open Sanctuary Collection reservations during November and December 2026:
- Regal Princess: Sales open November 5 for voyages beginning with the April 17, 2027, transatlantic departure from Port Everglades. The 13-night sailing ends in Southampton.
- Discovery Princess: Sales open December 4, starting with a seven-day Mexico cruise departing Los Angeles roundtrip on April 24, 2027.
- Sky Princess: Sales open December 10 for departures beginning with a 14-day Baltic cruise from Southampton on May 29, 2027.
- Enchanted Princess: Sales open December 17, starting with a seven-day Mediterranean voyage departing Civitavecchia on June 12, 2027.
Princess has not disclosed whether dry docks will be required to complete the conversions. The line also has not announced which, if any, additional ships will receive the Sanctuary Collection in later phases of the modernization program.
