MSC World Asia Adds Complimentary Poolside Dining Venues

Eataly will be the fleet’s second restaurant at sea, with regional Italian dishes, show cooking, an ocean-view terrace and a wine cellar at The Terrace Bar.

MSC Cruises says MSC World Asia, designed for up to 6,758 guests, will offer the line’s widest choice of complimentary and grab-and-go dining when it enters service on December 4, 2026. The October 26 announcement details new options including a five-stall poolside food market, a takeaway counter near the pool and a daytime Pan-Asian street-food window.

The complimentary outlets form part of a 20-venue dining lineup, with more than 40 restaurants, bars and lounges across the ship. The dining total comprises five main restaurants, including the exclusive MSC Yacht Club restaurant, six speciality concepts, two buffets and seven fast-casual or on-the-go outlets.

Poolside food stalls and daytime street food

The new Aqua Food Market will occupy a poolside location on the Aqua Deck, with five stalls offering dishes from several cuisines. Guests will be able to customise freshly prepared meals and either eat at the market or take their food back to the pool. Menu choices will include salads, sandwiches, loaded fries, pita breads and desserts.

Also on the Aqua Deck, Buffet Grab & Go will provide ready-to-eat snacks close to the pool.

The Pan-Asian Street Food venue will combine three elements: a speciality restaurant, a bar and a separate window dispensing complimentary food during the day. The window’s menu will include bao buns and crispy seafood balls.

Returning casual options include Promenade Bites, serving sweet and savoury snacks in the Promenade district. In the Family Aventura district, The Harbour Bar & Bites will offer complimentary takeaway snacks, desserts and cold drinks for guests using the family facilities.

Pizza & Burger, beside Luna Park in the World Galleria, will operate 24 hours a day. Its complimentary menu will cover burgers, pizza and other quick snacks.

Eataly joins the speciality restaurant lineup

The dining announcement follows MSC’s October 15 confirmation that Eataly will open aboard the ship. It will be the fleet’s second Eataly restaurant at sea, following the concept’s introduction on MSC World America.

“Partnering with Eataly allows us to bring a renowned culinary brand to sea, offering guests an authentic dining experience,” said Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, when announcing the restaurant.

The Eataly menu will feature regional Italian dishes and classics, with show cooking and a dedicated table chef among the dining experiences. Guests will also be able to eat on an ocean-view terrace and visit the wine cellar at The Terrace Bar to choose a bottle.

Sea trials done, Mediterranean next

MSC World Asia’s seven-night Mediterranean itineraries will include Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia for Rome, Naples and Valletta. Bookings are available with a choice of embarkation ports.

The ship has completed its final sea trials. Delivery is scheduled for November 25, 2026.
