Holland America Debuts Rolling Stone Rock Show on Oosterdam

Holland America Line has added four original productions to Oosterdam, led by a new Rolling Stone-branded rock show developed for the ship’s World Stage. The productions are already live on the vessel, while “Fosse and Verdon, the Duet That Changed Broadway” is also being presented on Koningsdam.

“We listened to what our guests wanted — more visually impressive productions with incredible music and memorable performances,” said Joe Chantry, vice president of entertainment and enrichment for Holland America Line. Chantry said the new slate was developed with RWS Global and Rolling Stone to give guests “even more reasons to make World Stage part of every evening onboard.”

Four productions join Oosterdam’s evening lineup

“Holland America Line and Rolling Stone Present All Access: The Songs That Shaped Us” combines live music and choreography around songs associated with artists including The Eagles, Janis Joplin, Van Halen and Fleetwood Mac.

The other three productions broaden the lineup beyond rock. “Decadence” combines Las Vegas, New York and old Hollywood-style staging; “Disco Fever” uses tracks including “Le Freak,” “It’s Raining Men” and “I Love the Nightlife”; and “Fosse and Verdon, the Duet That Changed Broadway” was created with the Verdon Fosse Legacy, using musical numbers inspired by Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon’s choreography and archival audio and video material.

Julian Holguin, chief executive officer of Rolling Stone, said the partnership brings the brand’s music focus to Holland America audiences “in a fresh, immersive way.” He added that Rolling Stone is “excited to build on the momentum of Rolling Stone Lounge” with the new live production.

On Oosterdam, Holland America describes Rolling Stone Lounge as a live-music venue built around decades of rock, pop and country hits, with nightly changes to the set and live performances six nights a week. The lounge was added on Vista Class ships including Noordam, Westerdam, Oosterdam and Zuiderdam.

Sailings named for the new shows

Holland America listed several 2026 Oosterdam itineraries tied to the new entertainment program, with bookings available this fall. The sailings include the 14-day “Greece, Italy & French Riviera Collectors’ Voyage” departing Aug. 22, the 10-day “Adriatic Allure: Croatia, Greek Isles & Istanbul” departing Sept. 23, and the 11-day “Adriatic Antiquities: Greece & Istanbul” departing Oct. 3.

Longer deployments listed by the line include the 16-day “Inca & Panama Canal Discovery: Lima Overnight” on Nov. 18 and the 22-day “South America & Antarctica Holiday” on Dec. 19.

Oosterdam is scheduled to be the first in Holland America’s $500 million-plus Evolution program, which covers six ships: the four Vista Class vessels and the Signature Class ships Nieuw Amsterdam and Eurodam. The ship is expected to debut the Evolution changes in late 2027, with the remaining ships following on a staggered multi-year schedule. Holland America did not announce a broader fleet rollout date for the full four-show package.
