Disney Wish Marks Cruise Line’s New York Return in 2027

The schedule marks Disney's first New York cruise season since Disney Dream sailed from the city in 2023 and the first multi-voyage deployment there by a Wish-class ship.

Disney Cruise Line will return to New York City on Sept. 29, 2027, deploying the Disney Wish for seven voyages to Bermuda, New England and Atlantic Canada through early November. The New York season is part of a wider fall 2027 and spring 2028 deployment that also adds San Juan departures, Panama Canal maiden calls and a third Wish-class ship at Port Canaveral.

The schedule will be Disney’s first New York cruise season since the Disney Dream sailed from the city in 2023 and the first multi-voyage deployment there by a Wish-class ship. Disney Wish will arrive after completing its inaugural European season.

“We are delighted to return to a guest-favorite port in New York, introduce maiden calls in Panama and continue visiting destinations throughout the Caribbean and beyond,” said Tracy Wilson, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line Operations.

Disney Wish was built in 2022 and carries about 4,000 passengers at maximum occupancy. New York’s Manhattan and Brooklyn cruise terminals handled more than 1.52 million passengers in 2024, including about 1 million at Manhattan.

Seven sailings from New York

The New York program opens with a four-night Bermuda cruise to King’s Wharf from Sept. 29 to Oct. 3. A five-night Canada and New England itinerary follows, calling at Saint John, New Brunswick, and Boston, while an Oct. 8 departure combines King’s Wharf and Halifax on a six-night voyage.

Disney Wish will operate two additional five-night Bermuda cruises beginning Oct. 14 and Oct. 19. Its longest round-trip itinerary, departing Oct. 24, is a seven-night Canadian cruise to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and the Nova Scotia ports of Sydney and Halifax.

The ship will leave New York on Oct. 31 for a five-night one-way voyage to San Juan, arriving Nov. 5 after an extended Bermuda visit. Five of the seven New York sailings include Bermuda, and three provide two days at the destination.

Inside-stateroom starting prices range from $3,771 for the one-way San Juan cruise to $5,960 for the seven-night Canada itinerary. The opening four-night Bermuda voyage starts at $4,222 for an inside stateroom.

Disney adds San Juan sailings and its first canal calls

After reaching Puerto Rico, Disney Wish will operate a seven-night Southern Caribbean cruise from San Juan to Aruba, Bonaire, Dominica and St. Maarten. It will then leave San Juan on Nov. 12 for a four-night repositioning voyage to Port Canaveral, calling at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Disney Castaway Cay.

Disney Fantasy will also sail from San Juan. Its December 2027 program includes a seven-night Southern Caribbean cruise and a five-night Eastern Caribbean voyage ending in Fort Lauderdale. The ship will return to Puerto Rico from late April through May 2028 for two seven-night cruises featuring Curaçao, Bonaire, Barbados and Antigua.

Disney Magic will make the deployment’s two Panama Canal transits. A 14-night eastbound cruise from San Diego to Galveston in November 2027 will make Disney’s maiden call at Fuerte Amador, serving Panama City. The ship will reverse the route in March 2028, adding the line’s first call at Colón on the Caribbean side of the canal.

Three Wish-class ships at Port Canaveral

Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny will all be based at Port Canaveral beginning in November 2027. Disney Destiny will homeport there for the first time, operating Bahamas and Western Caribbean cruises of three to seven nights after opening the season in Fort Lauderdale.

Disney Wish will resume three- and four-night Bahamas cruises after its New York and San Juan deployment. Disney Treasure will continue seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, supplemented by an eight-night Eastern Caribbean cruise and a six-night Bahamas voyage with two Castaway Cay calls.

Disney Dream will move from Port Canaveral to Fort Lauderdale in November 2027 for Bahamas cruises of three to five nights. Disney Fantasy will also shift south after an autumn program from Port Canaveral, including its first Bermuda cruise from Fort Lauderdale on an eight-night itinerary that also visits both Disney destinations in The Bahamas.

California, Texas and Singapore schedules

Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will begin the season in San Diego with three- to seven-night Baja and Mexican Riviera cruises. Disney Wonder will remain in California through spring 2028, while Disney Magic will move to Galveston after its eastbound canal transit and operate four- to seven-night cruises, including selected Bahamas voyages visiting both Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay.

Disney Adventure will continue three- and four-night cruises from Singapore between September and December 2027. Separately, selected four-night sailings from Dec. 31, 2026, through May 2027 will add Langkawi, Malaysia, the ship’s first scheduled port call after beginning service with sea-only itineraries.

Early booking access opens Aug. 31, 2026, for selected Castaway Club members, followed by general sales on Sept. 8. Disney did not assign a homeport or itineraries to Disney Believe, the Wish-class ship scheduled to enter service in late 2027.
