Disney Cruise Line Adds Ship-Specific Loungefly Ear Accessories
The designs draw on each ship’s stern artwork, from Sorcerer Mickey on Disney Dream to Spider-Man on Disney Destiny.
Disney Cruise Line has added 14 ship-specific Loungefly ear backpacks and ear headbands to its Onboard Gifts and Amenities pre-order service. The merchandise is available to guests sailing on seven ships, with orders delivered to their staterooms.
Backpacks cost $90 each, while ear headbands are priced at $46.99. Each vessel has one design in each product category, and purchases are restricted to guests sailing aboard the ship represented by the merchandise.
The collection draws on the character artwork decorating the ships’ sterns. On each ship, the backpack and headband share a character:
- Disney Dream: Sorcerer Mickey Mouse.
- Disney Magic: Goofy, alongside the ship’s stern design.
- Disney Wonder: Donald Duck.
- Disney Fantasy: Dumbo, with designs inspired by the ship’s stern.
- Disney Wish: Rapunzel.
- Disney Treasure: Peter Pan and Captain Hook, with the headband placing the characters on opposite sides.
- Disney Destiny: Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Guests can order through Disney Cruise Line’s Onboard Gifts and Amenities website by selecting their sailing and entering the reservation number and last name associated with the booking. The service’s availability and pricing vary by vessel, itinerary and departure date.
The accessories join the celebration decorations, food, beverages and flowers already offered for stateroom delivery. Most gifts can be ordered until three days before sailing; cakes and cupcakes have an earlier cutoff of seven days before departure.
Most onboard gifts are delivered on embarkation day. Guests may request a delivery time, but Disney does not guarantee that timing.
