Disney Fantasy Returns From Rare 10-Night Southern Caribbean Cruise

Disney's 2027 schedule lists one repeat 10-night Southern Caribbean departure for Fantasy on July 11, using the same six calls as the 2026 itinerary.

Disney Fantasy has returned to Port Canaveral from a 10-night Southern Caribbean cruise, its longest sailing of 2026 and a rare long voyage in a schedule largely built around short Bahamas runs from Central Florida. The itinerary called at Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Castries, St. Lucia; St. John’s, Antigua; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Disney Castaway Cay; and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

Fantasy now shifts back to three-, four- and five-night Bahamas departures through December, with the schedule featuring Nassau and visits to Disney’s two Bahamian private destinations. The return puts the ship back into regular rotation at Port Canaveral, which reported 8,602,047 revenue passenger movements in FY 2025, about 13 percent above FY 2024’s 7.6 million, and said the total made it the world’s busiest cruise port.

The ship behind the Bahamas sailings

The 2012 Meyer Werft-built Dream-class vessel is about 130,000 GT and carries up to 4,000 passengers in 1,250 staterooms, with 1,458 crew. Starting fares listed for Fantasy’s Port Canaveral summer sailings range from $2,094 to $7,066 for two guests.

Disney keeps three ships at Port Canaveral

Disney Cruise Line’s Port Canaveral deployment includes Fantasy, Disney Treasure and Disney Wish. Treasure, a 2,500-passenger ship that entered service in late 2024, is sailing seven-night Caribbean itineraries, while Wish is operating three- and four-night Bahamas cruises.

Disney Destiny gives the line a fourth ship sailing from Florida, with three- to seven-night itineraries to the Caribbean and the Bahamas. Across Port Canaveral, 14 homeported cruise ships are scheduled this summer on voyages ranging from two to 14 nights; Carnival and Royal Caribbean each account for four, Disney for three, and MSC, Princess and Norwegian for one apiece.

A single longer sailing is listed for 2027

Disney’s 2027 schedule for Fantasy includes Bahamas cruises from Port Canaveral and Caribbean sailings in June, July and August. The next 10-night Southern Caribbean cruise is scheduled for one departure on July 11, 2027, with the same six calls used on the 2026 itinerary.
