Disney Cruise Line Sets 2027 Halloween and Christmas Sailings
Disney Wish’s Halloween sailings overlap with its return to New York, with Bermuda, Canada and New England itineraries before a San Juan repositioning.
Disney Cruise Line has set its 2027 dates for Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime Cruises, with Halloween departures running from Sept. 6 through Oct. 31 and Christmas sailings scheduled from Nov. 8 through Dec. 24, depending on the ship. The line published the ship-by-ship schedule on Sept. 3 for Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny.
The seasonal programs cover seven ships in Disney’s current eight-vessel fleet. Singapore-based Disney Adventure was not included. General bookings open Sept. 8, 2026, following phased early access that began Aug. 31 for Castaway Club members and other eligible groups.
Halloween on the High Seas dates
Disney’s Halloween program typically includes Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party, costumed character appearances, trick-or-treating, seasonal crafts and games, themed entertainment and Halloween food and beverages. The 2027 operating windows are:
- Disney Magic: Sept. 25-Oct. 29
- Disney Wonder: Oct. 1-31
- Disney Dream: Sept. 6-Oct. 29
- Disney Fantasy: Sept. 15-Oct. 31
- Disney Wish: Oct. 3-31
- Disney Treasure: Sept. 18-Oct. 30
- Disney Destiny: Sept. 10-Oct. 28
The Disney Wish program overlaps with the ship’s return to New York City, where it will operate seven voyages from Sept. 29 through Oct. 31 after completing its inaugural European season. The four- to seven-night New York schedule includes five Bermuda cruises as well as Canada and New England itineraries calling at Boston, Saint John, Halifax, Charlottetown and Sydney.
Disney Wish will leave New York on a five-night repositioning cruise to San Juan, including a Bermuda call. It will then operate a seven-night Southern Caribbean itinerary from Puerto Rico before moving to Port Canaveral.
Very Merrytime schedule
Very Merrytime Cruises usually feature holiday decorations, a tree-lighting ceremony, character greetings in seasonal attire, deck parties, crafts, seasonal entertainment and appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus. Disney scheduled the following 2027 date ranges:
- Disney Magic: Nov. 22-Dec. 22
- Disney Wonder: Nov. 12-Dec. 19
- Disney Dream: Nov. 8-Dec. 24
- Disney Fantasy: Nov. 10-Dec. 19
- Disney Wish: Nov. 19-Dec. 24
- Disney Treasure: Nov. 13-Dec. 18
- Disney Destiny: Nov. 11-Dec. 22
Disney Destiny will relocate from Fort Lauderdale to Port Canaveral in November 2027 for three- to seven-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean cruises, joining Disney Wish and Disney Treasure there. Disney Wish will offer three- and four-night Bahamian cruises, while Disney Treasure will continue primarily on seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.
Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will begin the fall season in San Diego with three- to seven-night Baja and Mexican Riviera cruises. Disney Magic will subsequently make a 14-night Panama Canal repositioning to Galveston in November, including a maiden call at Fuerte Amador, before operating four- to seven-night cruises from Texas. Disney Wonder will remain in San Diego for its fall and spring program.
Holiday cruises form part of wider deployment
The holiday dates are part of Disney’s broader fall 2027 and spring 2028 deployment, which also adds more departures from San Juan and places Disney Fantasy on its first Bermuda cruise. That eight-night sailing from Fort Lauderdale will visit both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
“We are delighted to return to a guest-favorite port in New York, introduce maiden calls in Panama and continue visiting destinations throughout the Caribbean and beyond,” said Tracy Wilson, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line Operations.
Disney Adventure will continue three- and four-night cruises from Singapore through December 2027. Select sailings beginning Dec. 31, 2026, will add Langkawi, Malaysia, as the ship’s first port of call.
Disney did not include the forthcoming Disney Believe in either holiday roster or the wider fall 2027-spring 2028 deployment, although the ship is due to debut in late 2027. Additional details about Disney Believe are expected during a livestream on Oct. 7.
