Costa Fascinosa Adds Spring 2027 Western Mediterranean Cruises
A mid-May variation extends the sailing to eight nights with an added Ajaccio call, and embarkation is available in Civitavecchia, Toulon and either Savona or Genoa.
Costa Cruises will add a seven-night Western Mediterranean itinerary aboard Costa Fascinosa for the early part of its 2027 summer season. The new program will run from early April through late May 2027, focusing on Italy and France with embarkation available in Civitavecchia, Toulon and either Savona or Genoa.
The itinerary gives Costa a multi-homeport spring rotation built around Italian coastal calls, a French port and three at-sea events under the line’s Sea Destinations program. Costa did not publish a starting fare.
Spring program adds three Sea Destinations
The weeklong cruise will call at La Spezia, Civitavecchia, Salerno and Messina in Italy, along with Toulon in France and either Genoa or Savona. A mid-May variation extends the sailing to eight nights with an added call at Ajaccio on Corsica.
Costa’s Sea Destinations concept, introduced in 2024, uses navigation points accessible only by ship, with vessels slowing or stopping for scheduled onboard programming. For the 2027 spring itinerary, Costa plans a stargazing stop in the Ligurian Sea, a sunset party off Capri’s Faraglioni and a reception near Stromboli Volcano, where the ship will anchor among the Aeolian Islands for an aperitivo featuring local specialties.
Costa sets wider Mediterranean deployment for 2027
Costa Fascinosa will be one of three Costa ships sailing weeklong Western Mediterranean cruises in summer 2027, alongside Costa Smeralda and Costa Toscana. The line’s broader Mediterranean season will also include Costa Serena, Costa Deliziosa and Costa Pacifica in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Costa Serena is scheduled to return to Europe after a decade away from the region, sailing itineraries to Greece and Malta from Sicily and southern Italy.
After its April-May spring rotation, Costa Fascinosa is scheduled to shift in June 2027 to another series of seven-night Western Mediterranean cruises. Those peak-summer sailings will include Ibiza, Valencia, Palma de Mallorca, Olbia, Marseille, Toulon and Savona.
