Carnival Firenze Sails Adults-Only Casino Cruises From Long Beach

Carnival Firenze, built by Fincantieri for Costa Cruises and transferred to Carnival Cruise Line in 2024, is operating four adults-only SEA cruises from Long Beach through late November. The seven- to 14-night Mexican Riviera sailings come with extra casino space and are restricted to passengers aged 21 and older.
A temporary, non-smoking casino in the ship’s Tuscan Lounge brings its gaming areas to three for the series. The additional venue will be removed after the casino cruises conclude.
The ship normally operates a main casino where smoking is permitted and a smaller smoke-free casino. The SEA departures add gaming-focused activities, special dining menus with more choices and premium options, themed parties and adult-oriented entertainment.
SEA stands for “Sailings Exclusively for Adults.” Carnival introduced the program in 2025, initially through casino-focused, invitation-only departures, before broadening its adults-only programming. It is available on selected ships and dates.
Access is tied to invitations or targeted Carnival offers, delivered by email or through guests’ personalized account offers. Some departures also use registration through the SEA invitation page for VIFP loyalty members.
Four departures from Long Beach
The series opened in mid-October with calls at Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Ensenada. All four voyages operate roundtrip from Long Beach.
The next departure is a 14-night itinerary that includes Acapulco and Manzanillo, two less-visited Mexican Riviera destinations. Puerto Vallarta, La Paz, Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada are also on that itinerary before the ship returns to its homeport.
Two further SEA departures are scheduled in November: an 11-night voyage and a seven-night cruise. Carnival did not include a statement from an executive with the sailing details.
Regular service resumes before a 2027 move
After the adults-only series, the vessel will return to its regular West Coast schedule of short cruises to California and Baja.
In early 2027, Carnival Firenze is scheduled to begin a repositioning voyage that will take Carnival back to South America for cruises visiting Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. The ship will subsequently offer a broader range of itineraries from Miami and New York City.
