Amangati Floats Out in Genoa Ahead of 2027 Maiden Voyage
Aman lists all forty-seven suites with private terraces; the ship also has eight bar and dining venues and the Aman Spa.
Aman at Sea’s first ship, Amangati, has been floated out at T. Mariotti’s Genoa shipyard, moving the cruise project into outfitting. The ship will now go to an outfitting quay for interior completion before its May 7, 2027, maiden voyage from Palma de Mallorca to Nice.
For Aman, which has 36 properties in 20 countries, Amangati will be the hospitality group’s first cruise ship. The vessel is listed at 23,000 gt, with capacity for 94 guests in 47 suites and a planned crew of 207.
“To see Amangati painted, afloat and taking shape for the first time is to see years of design, craftsmanship and vision meeting the water together,” said Jonathan Wilson, president and CEO of Aman at Sea. He said the company is “grateful to the T. Mariotti shipyard, Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design” and others involved in the build.
Outfitting in Genoa and inaugural Mediterranean deployment

The opening six-night itinerary calls at Ibiza, Barcelona, Palamós, Marseille and Saint-Tropez before arriving in Nice. Aman at Sea’s first Mediterranean season will use five- to eight-night voyages across the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Ionian and Aegean seas.
The deployment includes a July 22 Catania-to-Dubrovnik sailing with calls at Kotor, Taormina, Crotone, Gallipoli and Otranto. An Aug. 29 Corfu-to-Piraeus voyage is scheduled for Zakynthos, Katakolon, Kalamata, Monemvasia, Milos and Hydra, while an Oct. 24 Palermo-to-Marseille voyage calls at Messina, Naples, Civitavecchia, Viareggio, Genoa, Monte Carlo and Nice.
Caribbean inventory is also open
Reservations are open for the maiden Mediterranean season and for the 2027 Caribbean program. After four late-season Mediterranean sailings in October and November, the ship is scheduled for a 13-night Atlantic Passage from Malaga to Antigua via Cadiz and Ponta Delgada in the Azores.
The first Caribbean season runs from Nov. 21, 2027, to Jan. 2, 2028, with five- to eight-night itineraries in the Leeward Islands, Windward Islands and Dutch Caribbean. Calls include Gustavia, Barbuda, Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda, Philipsburg, Saba, Little Bay, Iles des Saintes, Portsmouth, Anse d’Arlet, Soufriere, Canouan, Saint George’s, Bonaire, Willemstad and Tobago Cays.
Aman lists all 47 suites with private terraces. Accommodation sizes range from 653 square feet for the Deluxe Suite to 3,810 square feet for the Aman Suite, with Caribbean pricing from $32,000 for five nights to $207,900 for seven nights; the ship also has eight bar and dining venues and the Aman Spa.
The Caribbean program is scheduled to end with a New Year’s event at a private resort in Nevis, where Amangati is due to hold a two-night anchorage to welcome 2028.
