AIDA Cruises Plans Six Themed Winter 2026-27 Sailings
From late November to mid-February, AIDAnova will carry Winter Wonderland elements. The setup includes a Christmas market setting, Karl's Gondola and curling.
AIDA Cruises has announced six special cruises for the 2026-27 winter season, assigning the program to AIDAnova and AIDAprima. The departures run between late November 2026 and late March 2027, with themes covering music, comedy, wellness, darts, winter sports and family entertainment.
The schedule uses two ships in the Rostock-based line’s 11-ship fleet for itineraries from Hamburg, around the Canary Islands and Madeira, along the Norwegian coast and to European city ports. Four of the six sailings are on AIDAnova, while AIDAprima is assigned to the Spanish Nights and Norway winter-sports programs.
Four programs are assigned to AIDAnova
AIDAnova is scheduled to operate the Comedy Special from Hamburg on Dec. 12-19, 2026, with magician Marc Weide and comedian Atze Schroder onboard. The entertainment program includes magic, comedy and stage performances.
Body & Soul Week follows on Jan. 9-17, 2027, with a wellbeing program covering fitness, yoga, mental balance and holistic inspiration. Petra Havelkova, AIDA’s Feelgood Ambassador, and IFAA Master Trainer Stephanie Rebentisch are among the named participants.
The Dart Cruise is set for Feb. 20-27, 2027, with Raymond van Barneveld, Max Hopp, Paul Lim, Roland Scholten and Gordon Shumway among the darts personalities listed. AIDA said the sailing will include Theatrium shows, tournaments, meet-and-greets and workshops.
AIDAnova’s Family Special on March 20-27, 2027, will feature The Dwarf Orchestra, TanzAlarm with Singa Gatgens and Markus Becker in a program aimed at children and parents.
AIDAprima carries the Spain and Norway sailings
AIDAprima’s Spanish Nights cruise will sail around the Canary Islands and Madeira on Nov. 21-28, 2026. The program focuses on music, dance, Latin pop, flamenco guitar, Spanish dining and lifestyle elements, with guests including Loona, Melissa Ortiz-Gomez, Rafael de Alcala and Tatiana Perez.
The ship is also scheduled for Norway’s World Heritage with Ski Festival in Oslo on March 7-16, 2027. That sailing combines winter sports ashore with onboard après-ski programming, with ski jumper Martin Schmitt and biathlete Magdalena Neuner joining party acts Jurgen Milski, Markus Becker and Almklausi.
AIDA did not include starting fares or an executive statement for the six sailings. The themed departures are paired with seasonal onboard features: from late November to mid-February, AIDAnova will carry Winter Wonderland elements including a Christmas market setting, winter huts, Karl’s Gondola, curling and decorations, while AIDAprima is scheduled to operate an ice rink and winter huts from late December through March.
Separate January cruises add dance and crime formats
AIDA has also announced two other themed sailings in January 2027. AIDA Dances returns for a fourth sailing on Jan. 16-23, 2027, aboard AIDAcosma, operating round-trip from Gran Canaria to the Canary Islands and Madeira. The program includes workshops and performances with professional dancers from “Let’s Dance,” with Joachim Llambi and Ross Antony among the named guests. Prices start at EUR615 per person, based on premium pricing for two-person occupancy in an inside cabin and including an early-booking discount.
Crime & Sea will sail Jan. 23-30, 2027, on AIDAnova round-trip from Hamburg, with calls including Southampton for London, Le Havre for Paris, Zeebrugge for Brussels and Rotterdam. The onboard program will cover real and fictional cases, investigative work and forensics, with workshops on crime scene analysis, evidence collection and reconstruction, plus crime-themed shore excursions. Fares start at EUR775 per person for premium pricing in a two-person inside cabin; AIDA has not yet named the literature, podcast and drama personalities scheduled for readings, lectures and interactive formats.
