Windstar Adds 2027 Mystery Cruises in Northern Europe and Japan
On the Spanish voyage, guests receive each undisclosed port’s identity about 36 hours before arrival; Amsterdam arrival is timed for tulip season.
Windstar Cruises has added two Mystery Cruises for 2027, sending Star Pride from London to Amsterdam in April and Star Seeker from Sapporo (Otaru), Hokkaido, to Osaka in September. The line is also keeping space available on its 2026 Spanish Mystery Cruise, an eight-night Barcelona-to-Málaga sailing on Star Legend in which guests receive the identity of each undisclosed port about 36 hours before arrival.
The 2027 sailings follow earlier Mystery Cruise departures in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
"One thing I've learned about our guests is they're wonderfully comfortable with the unexpected," Windstar President Chris Prelog said. "They don't just want to revisit the places everyone knows."
Prelog described Windstar’s first Mediterranean Mystery Cruise as one of the most enjoyable trips he has hosted and said the Caribbean edition "sold out just as quickly."
New 2027 sailings add Northern Europe and Japan
The 2027 Northern Europe Mystery Cruise is scheduled for April 15-22 aboard Star Pride. Windstar lists the seven-night itinerary as London (HMS Belfast) to Amsterdam, with a sail under Tower Bridge before a series of undisclosed calls that include cultural capitals and smaller harbors; the arrival in Amsterdam is timed for tulip season.
The Japan Mystery Cruise is scheduled for Sept. 14-25, 2027, aboard Star Seeker. The 11-night voyage runs from Sapporo (Otaru), Hokkaido, to Osaka (Kyoto), and will include a new Destination Discovery Event.
The Spanish Mystery Cruise preceding those departures is scheduled for Nov. 4-12, 2026. It will sail along Spain’s coast from Barcelona to Málaga aboard Star Legend and include a special discovery event.
Sales offer runs with the Mystery Cruise rollout
Windstar also launched a limited-time promotion called More Reasons to Say Yes for new bookings made from July 1, 2026. The offer includes a complimentary All-Inclusive upgrade valued by the line at more than $1,300 for two guests on a seven-night voyage, a reduced deposit of $300 per stateroom and additional savings for Yacht Club Members.
The announcement did not include starting fares for the 2027 Mystery Cruises or identify any of the hidden ports. The booking offer remains open through Nov. 17, 2026.
