Variety Cruises Launches Croatia and Montenegro Itinerary for 2027
The fare includes four guided excursions to Dubrovnik’s Old Town, Mljet National Park, Hvar and Kotor, plus 14 onboard meals with drinks at lunch and dinner.
Variety Cruises will launch its seven-night “Croatia Island-Hopping & Montenegro” itinerary in April 2027, with fares starting at $2,190 per person. The 34-guest Callisto will sail weekly round trips from Dubrovnik, combining Croatian island calls with a visit to Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor.
The route includes Vis, Lastovo and Mljet, with a schedule designed to give guests more time to explore local destinations. Four guided excursions and cultural activities are included in the fare.
“Our goal isn't simply to show guests beautiful places—it's to help them understand the stories, cultures and traditions that continue to shape them today,” said Filippos Venetopoulos, CEO of Variety Cruises.
The included guided excursions cover Dubrovnik’s Old Town, Mljet National Park, Hvar and Kotor. Wine tastings and cooking or cocktail demonstrations are also part of the program, alongside opportunities to explore destinations independently.
The voyage includes 14 meals served onboard, featuring Mediterranean dishes and regional cuisine. Wine, beer or soft drinks accompany each onboard lunch and dinner. Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout the sailing.
Guests can also choose optional evening experiences in Croatian taverns, known as konobas, and Montenegrin villages.
Scheduled swim stops in secluded Adriatic bays, part of the line’s Variety Swim Experiences program, let guests enter the sea directly from the ship’s swimming platform. Kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and snorkeling equipment will be available without an additional charge. Swim stops are subject to weather conditions and local-authority restrictions, and may be changed or canceled.
