Swan Hellenic Guarantees Prices on Remaining 2026 Arctic Sailings
The guarantee applies to unsold capacity across eighteen Arctic voyages; Swan Hellenic did not announce individual fare levels or a broader multi-season program.
Swan Hellenic said May 13 that it will guarantee prices on all remaining sailings in its 2026 Arctic summer season, absorbing any increases tied to rising fuel costs rather than passing them on to guests. The policy applies to unsold capacity across 18 Arctic voyages and also covers last-minute bookings under the Arctic Uncovered savings offer first announced in March.
The guarantee does not change agency compensation. Swan Hellenic said travel agencies will continue to receive a $500 commission on each new booking.
Mario Bounas, Swan Hellenic’s chief commercial officer, said the guarantee was about the guest’s booking decision. “We don’t want anything to interfere with that,” Bounas said. “Which is why we’re now offering a price guarantee to protect our guests from rising fuel costs.”
Bounas described the Arctic voyages as itineraries built around the region’s natural and cultural content, saying the line wants guests to gain “a deeper understanding of this extraordinary region.”
The company did not announce individual voyage fare levels or extend the guarantee to a broader multi-season program.
Swan Hellenic operates three expedition ships: SH Minerva, SH Vega and SH Diana.
