StarDream Cruises to Show FIFA World Cup 26 Matches on Three Ships

The coverage will use IMG-owned Sport 24’s special event service. Adidas activations will add activity areas, exclusive merchandise and football quizzes.

StarDream Cruises will carry live FIFA World Cup 26 broadcasts onboard Genting Dream, Star Voyager and Star Navigator, with screenings scheduled in selected venues during the June 11 to July 19, 2026 tournament. The matches will run on Sport 24 Special Event Channels, bringing the football event into Dream Cruises and StarCruises sailings across Southeast and East Asia.

The plan gives Singapore-based StarDream a tournament-length onboard entertainment program across its three-ship fleet. It also pairs the broadcasts with adidas-related onboard activations that will run from June through August.

“Bringing the FIFA World Cup 26 onboard allows guests to experience the excitement in a truly unique way at sea, where sport, travel and celebration come together,” said Michael Goh, president of StarDream Cruises.

Sport 24 is IMG-owned. The live sports channel is distributed for use on aircraft and cruise ships, and StarDream’s World Cup coverage will use its special event service for the duration of the tournament.

Programming tied to the broadcasts

The adidas collaboration will add football-themed activity areas and exclusive merchandise onboard. StarDream also plans sail-away parties, football quizzes, mini games and recreational events for guests during the tournament period.

The programming spans both Dream Cruises and StarCruises vessels, with itineraries scheduled from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur via Port Klang, Hong Kong and Keelung during the event window. Genting Dream will sail from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur to destinations including Phuket, Bangkok, Koh Samui, Penang and Melaka.

Ship deployments during the tournament

Star Voyager is scheduled to begin the tournament sailing from Singapore, with calls including Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, Tioman Island, Pangkor Island, Penang and Kuala Lumpur. Star Navigator will operate from Keelung on Japan itineraries visiting destinations such as Okinawa, Kagoshima, Kumamoto, Kochi and Osaka.

From July 3, Star Voyager is due to reposition to Hong Kong while continuing the match screenings onboard. The Hong Kong program is scheduled to include Ha Long Bay, Da Nang, Kaohsiung, Penghu and Xiamen.
