Silver Endeavour Sets 21-Night Antarctica Voyage to Buenos Aires
Silver Endeavour’s 21-night Antarctica to Buenos Aires voyage departs March 4, 2027, the season’s longest itinerary and its only sailing to finish in Buenos Aires.
Silversea will offer guests on its first 2026-27 Antarctica departures an early preview of The Cormorant at 55 South, its 150-room hotel in Puerto Williams, Chile, before its official opening on November 5, 2026. Preview access will accompany the initial Silver Endeavour sailings from King George Island and Silver Wind departures from Puerto Williams.
The season comprises 40 voyages aboard those two ships and Silver Cloud through March 2027, including 29 Antarctica Fly Cruise departures that each include a hotel stay. Itineraries run from six to 21 nights, with routes covering the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands.
“The Cormorant will create a uniquely seamless journey to Antarctica,” said Bert Hernandez, president of Silversea, “opening up a part of the world that is often difficult to explore, yet has so much to offer.”
Three options for crossing the Drake Passage
Silver Endeavour, which carries 220 guests and holds a PC6 ice-class rating, will operate 14 sailings with flights over the Drake Passage in both directions.
Another 15 departures, spread across all three ships, will combine a flight in one direction with a Drake Passage crossing by sea in the other.
The remaining 11 voyages will depart from Puerto Williams and cross the passage by ship in both directions. Charter flights, expedition activities and Zodiac excursions are included on every sailing.
Longer itineraries reach South Georgia and the Falklands
The 274-guest Silver Wind, which has an ice-strengthened hull, will depart Puerto Williams on November 7, 2026, for an 18-night round-trip itinerary, “From the Falklands to the Peninsula.”
Silver Cloud, a 254-guest ship that is also ice-strengthened, will operate four 15-night voyages combining South Georgia, Elephant Island and the Antarctic Peninsula, beginning November 9.
A separate Silver Cloud itinerary, “South of the Antarctic Circle,” will depart Puerto Williams on December 9 for a 12-night round trip. Silver Wind’s 15-night “Holidays in the South” voyage follows on December 22, also departing from Puerto Williams.
The season’s longest itinerary will be Silver Endeavour’s 21-night “Antarctica to Buenos Aires” voyage, departing March 4, 2027. No other sailing finishes in Buenos Aires.
