Seven Seas Navigator Begins Regent Farewell Season in Dover
Avora has identified the converted vessel as Avora Lumina, with a January 2028 Lisbon launch and roughly two hundred forty-two to two hundred fifty-two private residences planned.
Seven Seas Navigator has arrived in Dover for its farewell Northern Europe program under Regent Seven Seas Cruises, following a 14-night repositioning cruise from Barcelona that ended July 19. The 490-passenger ship is scheduled to operate itineraries from the United Kingdom, Sweden and France before returning to the Mediterranean in August.
The regional farewell is part of the vessel’s final stretch with Regent before a planned late-2027 handover to Avora Residences. Built in 1999 and last refurbished in 2019, the 28,803-gross-ton Navigator measures 566 feet and is due to become a residential ship after a 28-year Regent career.
Northern Europe sailings move from Dover to Stockholm and Le Havre
The repositioning voyage into Dover called at destinations in Spain, Portugal, France and the United Kingdom. From Dover, Navigator begins a nine-night sailing to Stockholm with calls at Copenhagen and Oslo; every port on the itinerary, including the embarkation and disembarkation ports, includes an overnight stay.
The ship then operates a 15-night open-jaw voyage from Stockholm to Le Havre, covering the Baltic and the North Sea with calls in Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and England. A 12-night Le Havre-to-Barcelona cruise follows in mid-August, with visits scheduled for St. Malo, La Coruna and Lisbon among other Western Europe and Iberian Coast ports.
Mediterranean winter adds holiday programming
After the Northern Europe program, Navigator is scheduled to remain in Europe for the winter and continue Mediterranean sailings into early 2027. Regent has also added five multi-day pre- and post-cruise land programs exclusively for Seven Seas Navigator as part of its first full winter season in the Mediterranean.
The Navigator-only land programs are part of a broader 2026 holiday-season rollout that includes 56 new shore excursions across selected sailings on Seven Seas Navigator, Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Prestige, whose maiden voyage is scheduled to depart Barcelona on Dec. 13, 2026.
Residential conversion follows final Regent deployments
Navigator is scheduled to continue with Regent itineraries in Africa, Asia and Australia before being handed over to Avora Residences in late 2027. Avora has identified the converted vessel as Avora Lumina, with plans for roughly 242 to 252 private residences.
Villa Vie Residences, the backer named for the project, already markets continuous living at sea aboard Villa Vie Odyssey, with a global itinerary advertised at more than 400 destinations. Avora’s public materials describe Lumina’s planned voyage as a multi-year global circumnavigation reaching more than 140 countries and more than 400 destinations.
Avora has listed January 2028 from Lisbon as the planned launch for Avora Lumina.
