Regent Unveils Wine and Caviar Experiences for Seven Seas Prestige
Seven Seas Prestige is scheduled to begin its maiden voyage from Barcelona on December 13, 2026, before sailing an inaugural season in the Caribbean and Europe.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has unveiled four exclusive wine and spirits experiences for Seven Seas Prestige, including Champagne pairings, a martini-and-caviar service and personalised beverages for Skyview Regent Suite guests. The line will also introduce four regional wine lunches across its fleet.
The programme accompanies Regent’s first new ship class in more than a decade. Selected experiences will carry an additional charge, have limited availability and require advance reservations.
“These new experiences have been designed as memorable occasions, bringing together exceptional labels, culinary artistry, and engaging storytelling,” said Wesley D’Silva, President of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Five-course lunches pair wines with regional menus
The Grand Table Experience, available only aboard Seven Seas Prestige, will join Regent’s Connoisseur Wine Lunches series. Its five-course menu includes Krug Grande Cuvée paired with caviar, Maine lobster accompanied by Louis Jadot Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, and Wagyu A5 striploin served with Vega Sicilia Unico. Château d’Yquem will accompany tarte Tatin.
The four additional Connoisseur Wine Lunches will each follow a five-course format. A World of Terroir, A Journey to Iconic Wine Lands will feature wines from Champagne, Tuscany, Oregon, Chile and Canada, ending with Canadian Ice Wine. The American Wine Odyssey will focus on Anderson Valley, Napa Valley and the Russian River Valley.
The other two lunches concentrate on France and Italy. Expression of France will feature Ruinart, selections from Burgundy and Chablis, Château Palmer and Château d’Yquem. Terroir e Tavola: A Culinary and Wine Journey Through Italy will cover Franciacorta, Tuscany and Piedmont before concluding with Vin Santo del Chianti Classico.
Champagne, caviar and private suite service
Another ship-exclusive offering, The Prestige Collection: A Portrait of Cuvées, will explore the structure, texture and character of prestige Champagnes through food pairings. Canapés will include lobster prepared with citrus and elderflower, spicy tuna temari and beef tataki.
The Grey Goose Altius Martini & Caviar Ritual will be offered before dinner, pairing martini variations made with Grey Goose Altius with selected caviar.
Guests staying in the Skyview Regent Suite will have a separate, personalised beverage setup featuring Dom Pérignon, The Macallan and LOUIS XIII, supported by in-suite service and brand-specific presentation rituals. The LOUIS XIII Ceremonial Experience will be led by an ambassador and centre on Le Jeroboam, a three-litre Baccarat crystal decanter, with storytelling about the Cognac’s production, rarity and history.
Seven Seas Prestige will also offer existing Regent tastings. Spirits-focused sessions will include Woodford Reserve Flavour Wheel Tasting, The Macallan Colour Journey and Hennessy Cognac Journey. Wine and Champagne options will include The Craft of Caymus and The Champagne Experience.
Negronis at Galileo’s, alcohol-free drinks on the terrace
The tasting collection follows Regent’s announcement of drinks menus for the new ship’s bars and restaurants. Galileo’s Bar will focus on Italian aperitivo, with a Negroni Observatory selection and cocktails inspired by astronomy. Its menu will include the Astronomer’s Negroni, combining mezcal, Beefeater gin and Cocchi Storico vermouth, alongside a zero-proof espresso martini using Lyre’s products.
At Azure, herbal cocktails, citrus-based spritzes and regional wines will accompany Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes. Solmar Terrace at Compass Rose will serve wines, cocktails and alcohol-free drinks outdoors, including Orchard Fizz, made with apple juice, lemon and rosemary.
Prices for the tasting experiences have not been disclosed; Regent plans to release them alongside reservation information closer to launch. Seven Seas Prestige is scheduled to begin its maiden voyage from Barcelona on December 13, 2026, followed by an inaugural season in the Caribbean and Europe.
