Regent Seven Seas Sets First Elemis Wellness Voyage for 2027

The Elemis sailing departs August 21, 2027, from Trieste to Barcelona, with BeMoved classes, mindfulness enrichment and Blue Zone-inspired culinary menus.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises will run seven Spotlight Collection voyages in 2027, pairing special-interest programming with sailings in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the British Isles. The lineup includes Regent’s first Spotlight voyage dedicated to wellness and longevity, a 10-night Elemis partnership sailing on the new Seven Seas Prestige after the ship’s scheduled December 2026 entry into service.

The collection extends Regent’s interest-led Spotlight Voyages program, which has appeared in its 2025 and 2026 lineups, and places Seven Seas Prestige into themed programming during its first year in service. Other 2027 departures will sail on Seven Seas Voyager, Seven Seas Grandeur and Seven Seas Splendor, with wine, family history and culinary programming.

“Guests are looking not only to see the world, but also to engage through their personal interests and passions,” said Wesley D’Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Elemis wellness sailing set for Seven Seas Prestige

The Spotlight on Wellness & Longevity with Elemis departs Aug. 21, 2027, from Trieste to Barcelona. The itinerary calls at Argostoli, Gythion, Athens, Mykonos and Santorini in Greece before continuing to Ibiza and Barcelona.

Programming for the Elemis sailing includes expert-led wellness sessions, BeMoved classes, mindfulness enrichment and Blue Zone-inspired culinary menus. Supporting activities are organized around nutrition, stress management, skin and longevity, and movement.

Other cruise operators have also scheduled wellness-focused departures and partnerships. Cunard’s first Wellness at Sea voyage is planned for July 2026 with Harper’s Bazaar, Orient Express Sailing Yachts has announced a 14-day Corinthian retreat with Guerlain for October 2026, and Crystal has an October Wellness at Sea retreat featuring Sanctum.

McKinsey’s 2025 Future of Wellness survey found wellness was a top priority for 84% of U.S. consumers, with 60% interested in healthy aging. Phocuswright forecast wellness tourism rising from $894 billion in 2024 to $1.4 trillion in 2029.

Wine sailings account for four departures

The wine schedule opens March 24 with a 10-night Seven Seas Voyager cruise from Rome to Barcelona with Foley Family Wines & Spirits. Mari Wells Coyle and Jay Gifford will host seminars and discussions on California wines, with port calls at La Spezia for Cinque Terre, Portofino, Cannes, Mahon, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza and Valencia.

Two additional wine sailings depart July 11. James Mercante, founder of Mercante Wine Merchants, will join an eight-night Seven Seas Grandeur itinerary from Rome to Venice, calling at Salerno, Messina, Catania, Kotor, Dubrovnik and Koper.

On Seven Seas Splendor, Jessica and Florencia Palmaz of Napa Valley’s Palmaz Vineyards will host a 14-night Copenhagen-to-Southampton cruise that includes Warnemunde for Berlin, Ronne, an overnight in Stockholm, Tallinn, Helsinki, Liepaja, Gdansk, Amsterdam and Zeebrugge for Bruges. The Palmaz program covers estate winemaking, sustainable vineyard practices and technology in wine production.

The final wine departure is an 11-night Seven Seas Voyager Mediterranean sailing on Oct. 11 with Steven Honig and Honig Vineyard & Winery, running from Rome to Barcelona via Livorno, Monte Carlo, Toulon, Sete, Palamos, Mahon, Palma de Mallorca and Alicante. The onboard program includes tastings, hosted dinners, educational seminars and food-and-wine pairing discussions.

Genealogy and culinary voyages complete the collection

The genealogy voyage, Spotlight on Heritage with Ancestry.com, departs July 2 for 12 nights on Seven Seas Voyager from London to Edinburgh, where the ship overnights. Guests will have access to AncestryProGenealogists for expert sessions and personal consultations during a route that includes Fowey, Cork, Waterford, Holyhead, Douglas, Liverpool, Bangor, Glasgow and Kirkwall.

The Epicurean Spotlight with Mark and Kate Bittman follows on July 14, also on Seven Seas Voyager, sailing 12 nights from Edinburgh to Stockholm. Author and podcast host Mark Bittman and producer and editorial director Kate Bittman will host live podcast discussions, conversations and cooking demonstrations on an itinerary that calls at Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Warnemunde, Ronne, Gdansk, Klaipeda, Riga and Tallinn.

No starting fares were included in the announcement. Regent lists offer code “SPO” for complimentary Spotlight Voyage programming on applicable bookings.
