Rachael Ray Joins Chefs Making Waves 2027 Cruise Lineup
Guests on the 2027 sailing will receive three reservations at chef-curated Culinary Collectives, while buffet dishes will be developed around participating chefs.
Rachael Ray has joined the lineup for Chefs Making Waves’ April 20–24, 2027, culinary cruise aboard Norwegian Jewel from Miami to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Sixthman is producing the four-night sailing with a21 and EBG.
The program will include multiple live tapings of “Chewed Up,” the cooking-and-conversation series featuring Carla Hall, Michael Symon and Clinton Kelly. The Emmy Award-winning former stars of “The Chew” will bring recipes, debates and personal stories to an onboard audience.
“Some of my favorite moments have been around a table, sharing good food with great people, and that’s what I’m looking forward to with Chefs Making Waves,” Ray said.
Ray also said the multiday format gives participants time to discuss their home cooking and get acquainted beyond individual demonstrations.
Sixthman chief executive officer Jeff Cuellar said the company wants guests “to feel cared for and have opportunities to connect with their favorite culinary personalities.” He said shared meals and conversations help build that community.
Chef-curated dining and onboard events
The 2027 offering includes three reservations at chef-curated restaurants called “Culinary Collectives,” along with buffet dishes developed around the participating chefs. The cruise’s broader format combines cooking and mixology demonstrations with wine and spirits tastings, question-and-answer sessions and excursions featuring culinary personalities.
Kardea Brown will host “Kardea’s Family Reunion at Sea,” an event combining storytelling and games with music and dancing. Tiffany Derry and Duff Goldman are also among the culinary personalities scheduled to participate.
Marcus Samuelsson will lead a discussion drawing on his newest cookbook, “Back to Green: Rediscovering a World of Delicious, Healthy Eating.” Robbie Felice and Giorgio Rapicavoli will explore the behind-the-scenes work of pop-up dining during “Pop-Up Confidential.”
The schedule also gives chefs roles outside the kitchen. Joe Isidori will DJ one of the Headphone Dance Parties, where guests can select their preferred music channel. Rapicavoli will lead “Chops-Fit,” a workout open to participants of all ages and experience levels.
Additional departures on the calendar
Chefs Making Waves also has a November 6–11, 2026, sailing scheduled aboard Norwegian Joy, visiting Montego Bay, Jamaica, and George Town, Grand Cayman. That lineup includes Bobby Flay, Carson Kressley, Antonia Lofaso and Michael Voltaggio.
A separate Chefs Making Waves sailing in Alaska is scheduled for September 21–28, 2027.
