Margaritaville at Sea Paradise Delayed in Nassau by Weather

Margaritaville at Sea is extending Wi-Fi and beverage packages at no charge while crew assist passengers with individual concerns during the extra Nassau port day.

Anticipated adverse weather has delayed Margaritaville at Sea Paradise’s scheduled return to the Port of Palm Beach in Riviera Beach, Florida. The port is expected to be closed Tuesday.

Passengers are spending an extra port day in Nassau. Margaritaville at Sea is extending onboard packages, including Wi-Fi and beverage packages, at no additional charge.

“The safety of our guests and crew remains our highest priority, and we will return to port as soon as conditions safely permit,” Margaritaville at Sea said in a statement. The line also said crew members are available to help passengers with individual concerns arising during the voyage.

The 52,926-gross-ton ship entered service in 1991 as Costa Classica before being refitted and renamed. It accommodates 1,308 passengers at double occupancy, with a maximum guest capacity of 1,680, and normally operates itineraries from Palm Beach to the Bahamas and Key West.
