Princess Cruises Details 2026 Holiday Sailings in Florida, California
Regal Princess is slated for a six-day Eastern Caribbean roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale that includes Celebration Key, Carnival Corporation's Grand Bahama destination.
Princess Cruises has outlined its 2026 holiday sailings across the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii and the Panama Canal, with onboard celebrations spanning Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. The line’s 2027 holiday cruises are also open for booking.
The featured departures include voyages from California and Florida, with the longest extending into January. Princess says availability is limited for the remaining 2026 holiday sailings, and seasonal entertainment will vary by ship.
Holiday departures from Florida and California
Regal Princess will sail roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale on December 20–26, 2026, operating a six-day Eastern Caribbean itinerary that includes Celebration Key. Princess is scheduled to begin calling at Carnival Corporation’s private destination on Grand Bahama in fall 2026.
For a longer Christmas voyage, Caribbean Princess will depart the same homeport on December 17 for a 12-day itinerary combining the Panama Canal, Costa Rica and the Caribbean. The ship is scheduled to return on December 29.
On the West Coast, Discovery Princess will operate a seven-day Mexican Riviera cruise roundtrip from Los Angeles on November 21–28, covering Thanksgiving. Ruby Princess will sail a 16-day Hawaiian Islands holiday itinerary from San Francisco on December 26, returning January 11, 2027, with New Year’s falling during the voyage.
Seasonal programming varies by ship
Princess’ holiday program is designed for families and multigenerational groups. Decorations across the fleet will include illuminated trees, garlands and floral displays.
“The magic of the holidays at sea begins the moment guests pack their bags,” said Denise Saviss, vice president of entertainment at Princess Cruises.
The Tree Lighting Celebration on Sphere-class and Royal-class vessels will feature performances by the full entertainment cast. Discovery Princess and Regal Princess are among the Royal-class ships. Other vessels will hold a Festive Tree Lighting with vocalists. Both formats take place in the Piazza.
Seasonal dining will include special holiday menus, alongside turkey-carving demonstrations, cookie activities, festive cocktails and hot chocolate stations. Princess will also offer inclusive religious observances during the holiday period.
Family programming may include gingerbread-house decorating, Storytime with Stanley and the Festive Family Faire, which features arts and crafts. A holiday family flair night will invite guests to wear festive pajamas and sweaters.
Holly Jolly Sweater Parties will bring holiday music and silent-disco events to the schedule. Candlelight concerts and festive singalongs are also planned, while holiday films will be screened through Movies Under the Stars and available in staterooms.
Select ships will offer Merry Moments and “Let It Snow” experiences, including falling snow in the Piazza. Star Princess and Sun Princess will also present Piazza Magical Moments, combining the snow effect with seasonal imagery on an LED screen.
