PortMiami Announces 16-Ship Cruise Lineup for 2026-27
The schedule begins with Ponant Explorations’ L’Austral and Explora III in October 2026, then concludes with Royal Caribbean’s Hero of the Seas in August 2027.
PortMiami has announced a 16-ship arrival lineup spanning 12 cruise brands for the 2026-27 season. Five of the vessels are operated by Silversea, with other arrivals ranging from yachts to large cruise ships.
The announcement follows another increase in passenger traffic at the Miami-Dade County port. PortMiami handled 8,564,151 cruise passengers in fiscal 2025, compared with 8,233,056 in fiscal 2024, an increase of approximately 4%.
“The port's continued momentum highlights our longstanding partnerships with cruise brands,” said Jonathan Daniels, PortMiami director and CEO.
“The upcoming season reflects the enduring strength of cruise tourism in Miami Dade County,” Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said.
The port’s announcement identifies arrival months but does not specify individual sailing dates, itineraries or the number of calls each vessel will make.
Autumn and winter arrivals
The schedule opens in October 2026 with L’Austral, operated by Ponant Explorations, and Explora III from Explora Journeys.
Silversea’s arrivals extend across four consecutive months. Silver Shadow is due in November, followed by Silver Ray and Silver Dawn in December. Silver Nova is scheduled for January 2027, with Silver Spirit following in February.
November’s yacht arrivals include the 110-guest Orient Express Corinthian from Orient Express Sailing Yachts. The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s Ilma and Emerald Cruises’ Emerald Sakara are also scheduled that month.
Four Seasons Yachts follows in December with Four Seasons I, which has an advertised maximum capacity of 222 guests. Azamara Quest is also on the December arrival list.
Margaritaville at Sea’s Beachcomber is scheduled for January. Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Firenze follows in February.
Getting to the terminals
PortMiami is asking embarking passengers to use the parking garage or surface lot designated for their ship and to arrive at their assigned embarkation time.
Travelers heading to terminals AA, A, B, C and D should approach via the PortMiami Tunnel. For terminals E, F, J and V, passengers should use the PortMiami Bridge.
Summer arrivals extend the schedule
Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Aura, designed for 3,879 passengers at double occupancy, is expected to enter service in May 2027 before its scheduled PortMiami arrival in June. The final vessel on the announced calendar is Royal Caribbean’s Hero of the Seas, with capacity for approximately 7,600 guests at maximum occupancy, due in August 2027.
