P&O Cruises Opens Sales for Biggest Summer 2028 Program
The expanded program points to rising confidence in United Kingdom cruise demand, as the line leans on homeport convenience and fly-cruise options to stretch the season.
P&O Cruises has opened sales for 215 cruises in its summer 2028 schedule, which the Southampton-based line describes as its biggest summer program to date. Departures run from March through October 2028 from Southampton and on Malta fly-cruises, reaching 121 destinations in 29 countries with 64 overnight calls and 69 late-evening departures.
The schedule combines expanded Norwegian fjords cruises, short breaks, Mediterranean fly-cruises, British Isles, Canary Islands, and Northern Europe and Scandinavia itineraries, plus longer 30-night voyages to the USA and Canada.
Fjords, short breaks and longer port stays
The deployment spans P&O's seven-ship fleet. Arvia will operate a new 14-night Southampton cruise combining Spain, France and the Norwegian fjords.
Arcadia and Aurora will operate adults-only holidays to Norway and Iceland, Northern Europe and Scandinavia. The same two ships are also listed for selected multi-generational cruises from three to 21 nights. Aurora will sail a 21-night Arctic itinerary in August 2028 to Iceland and the North Cape with an overnight in Reykjavik.
The schedule includes more short sailings, with weekend departures planned between May and September. Azura has an overnight call in Livorno, while Britannia and Ventura itineraries include Civitavecchia for Rome. P&O also identified extended calls in Athens and Barcelona.
How the booking offers work
The summer sale adds a 10% early-bird discount and 10% deposit, while Peninsular Club members can receive an additional 5% discount on selected holidays.
Third and fourth guests sharing a cabin on selected off-peak cruises sailing from and to Southampton for seven nights or more are listed from 49 per person.
P&O did not include an executive statement with the announcement or publish lead-in fares for the full program. The early-bird discount and reduced deposit apply only to qualifying Select Price and Early Saver holidays. Bookings must be made by June 30, 2026.
