Oceania Allura to Debut Full Mediterranean Winter Season in 2027
The nine-day Iconic Art & Architecture voyage sails roundtrip from Rome January 31 to February 9, 2028, with calls at Tunis, Valletta, Messina and Salerno.
Oceania Cruises has announced 17 European winter voyages for November 2027 through March 2028, with itineraries ranging from nine to 26 days. The 1,200-guest Oceania Allura will operate the series, sailing between ports including Barcelona, Rome, Athens and Istanbul.
It will be Allura’s first full Mediterranean winter.
“Europe is one of the most beloved cruise regions, and we are thrilled to offer our guests year-round opportunities to sail with us,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises.
Winter routes across the Mediterranean
Among the scheduled departures is Warm Winter Wonderland, a 12-day voyage leaving Athens on December 8, 2027, and ending in Barcelona on December 20. The itinerary begins with calls at Limassol, Rhodes and Ephesus, followed by Heraklion and Katakolon. From Valletta, Allura continues to Trapani and Cagliari before visiting Mahon and Palma de Mallorca.
The winter schedule also includes a Barcelona departure shortly before Christmas, visiting destinations in Spain, Morocco and Italy during the festive period.
The nine-day Iconic Art & Architecture voyage operates roundtrip from Rome from January 31 to February 9, 2028. Its route combines Porto Torres and Palma de Mallorca with a call at Tunis, followed by Trapani, Valletta, Messina and Salerno before the return to Rome.
Other winter options include a 10-day Trieste-to-Barcelona sailing through the Adriatic, Greek Islands and Sicily. An Istanbul-to-Rome itinerary begins with an overnight stay in Istanbul, then continues west with calls in Greece and Italy.
The collection includes extended port visits, small-group excursions and culinary experiences. Onboard, Allura offers hands-on cooking instruction at The Culinary Center, creative sessions in the Artist Loft and photography instruction at the LYNC Digital Center.
European departures beyond the winter season
The broader 2027-28 European collection spans Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, Adriatic and Aegean. Several of the itineraries announced alongside the winter deployment fall earlier in 2027, aboard other Oceania ships.

Oceania Sirena follows with the nine-day Mysteries of History itinerary from Rome to Istanbul, May 24 to June 2, visiting ports in Italy, Greece and Turkey, including Syracuse, Mykonos and Canakkale.
Farther north, Oceania Marina will sail the 13-day Glacial Adventure from Copenhagen to Reykjavik from July 26 to August 8. Calls include Gothenburg, Oslo, Norwegian coastal ports, Torshavn and three Icelandic destinations before arrival in Reykjavik.
