Norwegian Escape Starts Fall Sailings From New York
Norwegian Bliss follows in November with Caribbean and Bahamas sailings through early April 2027, while Norwegian Luna is due for a Northeast debut.
Norwegian Escape began a fall deployment from New York City on August 19, 2026, after completing its summer program from Port Canaveral. The Norwegian Cruise Line ship will sail an Eastern Caribbean itinerary followed by Canada and New England cruises before leaving Manhattan on a trans-Atlantic crossing. It will remain at the New York homeport through late September.
Eastern Caribbean and Canada itineraries
The season opened with a 10-night Eastern Caribbean cruise calling at San Juan, Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, Tortola and Philipsburg before returning to New York.
The ship’s subsequent seven-night Canada and New England cruises include calls at Sydney and Halifax in Nova Scotia, Portland in Maine, Boston and Newport. Norwegian did not include an executive comment with the schedule.
Built in 2015, Norwegian Escape measures 165,157 gross tons and is 1,069 feet long. The ship accommodates 4,266 guests at double occupancy and carries a crew of 1,733.
The crossing to Barcelona, and the ships that follow
Norwegian Escape will conclude the New York season with a 16-night crossing to Barcelona. The itinerary includes Halifax, Ponta Delgada, Gibraltar, Melilla, Motril and Palma de Mallorca.
Norwegian Aqua, a Prima-class ship, is spending the summer in the Northeast with five- to seven-night Bermuda cruises from New York. Norwegian Bliss will follow in November, beginning a winter schedule serving the Caribbean and the Bahamas through early April 2027.
Norwegian Luna is next for New York. The ship, which entered service earlier in 2026, is due to make its Northeast debut during the upcoming summer season with four- to seven-night Bermuda itineraries.
