Bermuda Schedules 209 Cruise Ship Calls for 2027
Six regular or contract ships account for 123 of Bermuda’s planned 2027 calls, nearly three-fifths of the total, while July is set to be the busiest month with 28 visits.
Bermuda is scheduled to receive 209 cruise ship calls in 2027, an increase of 13 visits, or about 6.6%, over the 196 planned for 2026. The Department of Marine and Ports Services published the projected schedule online last week.
Six regular or contract ships account for 123 of the planned visits, nearly three-fifths of the annual total. July has the heaviest scheduled traffic, with 28 calls. New York, Philadelphia and Baltimore are the most common departure points for cruise passengers visiting the island.
Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Luna is due to make 30 visits to Dockyard. Its peak-season calls are expected to bring 4,224 passengers each. Disney Cruise Line is also due to return after several years away from Bermuda.
The increase in scheduled calls follows a decline in annual cruise passenger arrivals. Bermuda received 467,525 cruise passengers in 2025, according to the Bermuda Tourism Authority, compared with 535,356 in 2024, a reduction of 67,831, or about 12.7%.
The latest passenger figures cover the first half of 2026, when 235,179 people arrived by cruise ship. Cruise passengers account for the largest share of Bermuda’s visitors.
Royal Naval Dockyard handles the island’s large-ship traffic through the adjacent King’s Wharf and Heritage Wharf facilities. Smaller vessels can berth at Hamilton’s Front Street passenger terminal or at Penno’s Wharf in St. George’s, which ships reach through Town Cut.
Calls build from March. Queen Anne is due earlier, in January, during a voyage from Hamburg to Fort Lauderdale.
