Mein Schiff Launches Culinary Podcast With Genuss-Guide Hamburg

Across Mein Schiff, passengers dine without fixed meal times or assigned seating, while individual vessels offer approximately nine to 14 restaurants and bistros.

Mein Schiff has launched a culinary podcast series with Genuss-Guide Hamburg, releasing its first episode on October 22, 2026. The collaboration is a special edition of “One of everything, please! More of it!” and will feature conversations with guests from the gastronomy and cruise industries about dining across the fleet.

The project extends a partnership between the cruise brand and the Hamburg culinary guide that began in 2025. TUI Cruises said the series aims to introduce passengers and culinary enthusiasts to different aspects of the onboard dining experience.

The opening episode features Denis Wiechert, vice president of product management & guest experience at TUI Cruises, and Genuss-Guide Hamburg publisher Tanya Kumst. Wiechert discusses his career, his interest in the culinary arts and plans for subsequent episodes. He and Kumst will speak with invited guests during the special series.

Since late 2020, the existing podcast has brought gastronomy personalities together to talk about food trends, sustainability and social developments. Restaurant concepts and the logistics of provisioning the fleet also come up, as does the role of food and enjoyment in travel.

Across Mein Schiff, passengers dine without fixed meal times or assigned seating. Depending on the vessel, the restaurant and bistro selection spans approximately nine to 14 venues.

The fleet’s culinary offerings include Asian-inspired restaurants such as Hanami by Tim Raue and FUGU by Tim Raue, alongside the Surf & Turf steakhouse. Other concepts cover Italian, regional German and Austrian cuisine, although restaurant names and availability differ by ship.

The video podcast streams on Spotify and Genuss-Guide's website.

Chef Cornelia Poletto is among the guests scheduled to appear in the special edition. She will also accompany a Caribbean cruise aboard Mein Schiff Flow departing on January 22, 2027.
