Margaritaville at Sea Limits 2027 Cruise Membership Bookings to 30 Days

Beachcomber’s eligible PortMiami sailings run from January through September 2027 before membership-covered departures shift to the Port of Galveston in October.

Margaritaville’s $2,499 Cruise Membership Is for Short-Notice Travelers

Margaritaville at Sea’s new cruise membership lets you sail repeatedly, but you can book only within 30 days of departure and hold just one active reservation at a time. I’d put those rules right beside the $2,499 starting price. They tell you more about who this offer suits than the word “unlimited” does.

For two adults who can travel at short notice, the expanded pass offers plenty to consider. For someone trying to secure next year’s vacations months ahead, the booking window is a serious limitation. Paying upfront does not buy advance certainty.

Announced October 8, 2026, the 2027 Annual Cruise Membership covers unlimited eligible cruises through December 31, 2027, subject to blackout dates, availability and other restrictions. It expands the earlier Paradise Pass from a narrower selection of sailings to all three Margaritaville at Sea ships for the first time.

Eligible voyages can run up to seven nights, with accommodation categories extending to a Breezy Balcony. Returning Paradise Pass holders can buy at a limited-time starting price of $1,999. Benefits begin immediately after purchase, giving early buyers approximately 15 months of use.

More ships make this a more useful pass

The fleetwide expansion is the improvement I like. A membership becomes more useful when it gives passengers a broader choice of departure points and itineraries, rather than simply more opportunities to repeat the same trip.

Margaritaville at Sea’s 2027 schedule spans four homeports and 22 ports of call, although individual sailings must still meet the membership’s eligibility requirements.

Paradise will offer eligible departures from the Port of Palm Beach, while Islander will sail from Port Tampa Bay. Both are included alongside Beachcomber, the new vessel scheduled to enter the line’s service in 2027.

Beachcomber’s eligible PortMiami sailings will run from January through September 2027. Starting in October, its membership-covered departures will operate from the Port of Galveston.

Still, more choices on the schedule do not remove the requirement to find an eligible, available sailing inside the booking window.

The membership price is not the trip price

Coverage generally applies to one double-occupancy stateroom on a qualifying round-trip sailing. It does not guarantee a booking, and “unlimited” does not mean access to every departure or accommodation category. The official terms describe the pass as a limited, revocable license.

Taxes, fees and port expenses are payable when making a reservation. Gratuities, fuel supplements, booking fees and onboard spending are also outside the membership’s coverage. Each additional cruise can therefore bring another set of charges, even when the covered accommodation is included.

Upgrades, packages and sailing enhancements cost extra. An additional-guest option is available as an add-on beyond the two adults covered by the starting membership price.

There is also no refund or transfer option. Cancellations and no-shows can lead to charges or loss of pass privileges. Those conditions deserve particular attention in a product whose usefulness depends on being able to take repeated trips at relatively short notice.

The wider fleet gives this membership more substance. The planning restriction still decides its value. If your vacation dates need to be settled months ahead, you can pay for a year of cruising opportunities without securing the cruise you actually need.
