Marella Names Tiffany, Claire Richards for 2027 Music Cruise
The sixth Electric Sunsets edition will sail aboard Marella Discovery, with fancy-dress nights and parties tied to the selected decades.
Marella Cruises has named Tiffany and Claire Richards as the lead performers for “Electric Sunsets 80s vs 90s,” an adults-only music cruise scheduled for April 28-May 1, 2027. The three-night sailing will operate roundtrip from Palma aboard Marella Discovery, with calls at Valencia and Ibiza.
The 2027 cruise is the sixth edition of Electric Sunsets and moves the event’s retro-decade pairing to the 1980s and 1990s after a 2025 “90s vs 00s” program aboard Marella Voyager.
Tiffany, known for “I Think We’re Alone Now,” will headline alongside Richards, a member of British dance-pop group Steps. Martin Kemp is also scheduled for a live DJ set. DJ Sash is on the bill.
“This themed cruise has become a firm favorite for our customers,” said Chris Hackney, chief executive officer of Marella Cruises, adding that Marella’s market research and customer feedback support the 1980s and 1990s focus.
Tiffany said the 1980s were a special period for music and that she was looking forward to performing her hits as the ship sails in the Mediterranean.
Marella’s themed programming includes fancy-dress nights and parties tied to the selected decades.
