Celebrity Solstice Begins First 110-Night Grand Voyage

Following a major refurbishment, Celebrity Solstice is the first in the fleet with Trattoria Rossa, a specialty restaurant serving Roman and Southern Italian dishes.

Celebrity Solstice has begun Celebrity Cruises’ first Grand Voyage, a 110-night itinerary covering 58 ports in 15 countries. The ship left Vancouver on September 13, 2026, and is scheduled to finish the journey in Hong Kong on January 2, 2027.

The Pacific itinerary includes nearly 20 destinations across New Zealand and Australia. Passengers will spend New Year’s Eve in Hong Kong.

Solstice departed from Vancouver’s Canada Place Cruise Terminal and began with Alaska calls at Ketchikan, Juneau and Icy Strait Point. Its next scheduled visits are in Hawaii, with Hilo, Kailua Kona and Honolulu on the itinerary before the crossing to French Polynesia and Fiji.

The South Pacific portion includes Moorea and Raiatea, alongside a 17-hour call at Tahiti, followed by Lautoka in Fiji. After its New Zealand and Australia calls, the ship will continue through Southeast Asia, visiting Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Before departure, Solstice completed a major refurbishment involving public spaces and dining venues. The work also increased passenger capacity, although a revised total was not specified. No executive statement accompanied the voyage details.

Among the additions is Trattoria Rossa, a specialty restaurant serving Roman and Southern Italian dishes. Solstice is the first ship in Celebrity’s fleet to offer the venue. The refurbishment also introduced Boulevard Lounge, with programming throughout the day that includes piano-bar performances and karaoke evenings.

Built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, the approximately 122,000-gross-ton ship entered service in 2008. Celebrity’s fact sheet for the ship lists accommodation for 2,852 passengers at double occupancy and approximately 1,284 crew.

After the Grand Voyage, Solstice is scheduled to begin a winter deployment in Asia. That program will consist of 11- to 13-night sailings between Hong Kong and Singapore.
