Ambassador Cuts Fly-Caribbean Deposits to £99 for 2026-27

A March 14, 2027, Caribbean Highlights and Atlantic Discovery sailing spans 18 nights, visits seven ports in seven countries and ends in Portsmouth.

Ambassador Cruise Line is offering a reduced £99-per-person deposit on new bookings for its 2026-27 fly-Caribbean program aboard Renaissance, the 1993-built ship it refurbished in 2025, covering all cabin grades and 10 itineraries in the line’s second winter Caribbean season. The promotion is available for bookings made by Sunday, July 5, with the season scheduled from Oct. 29, 2026, to April 1, 2027.

Apart from the opening and closing repositioning sailings, the program is built around 14-night roundtrips from Bridgetown, Barbados. The sailings pair Caribbean turnarounds with dedicated Virgin Atlantic charter flights from London Heathrow and Manchester every other Sunday.

British guests will fly direct to Bridgetown in Economy Classic, with paid upgrade options to Economy Delight, Premium and Upper Class. Ambassador said the fly-Caribbean itineraries were developed with Destination Experiences.

One example is the March 14, 2027 Caribbean Highlights and Atlantic Discovery itinerary, an 18-night sailing that begins with flights from Heathrow or Manchester to Bridgetown before Renaissance cruises through the Caribbean and crosses the Atlantic to Portsmouth. The itinerary includes seven ports in seven countries, with Bridgetown promoted for markets, beaches and UNESCO-listed sites.

Saver Fares on that sailing start at £1,519 per person, based on two guests sharing an inside cabin, and include full-board accommodation at under £85 per person per night. Ambassador Fares, which include the Ambassador Expedition Drinks Package, gratuities and service charges, start at £2,283.23 per person for the same occupancy and cabin category.

P&O Cruises is also using low-deposit offers

At the same time, P&O Cruises is offering up to £500 in extra onboard spending money on selected Caribbean fly-cruise holidays departing from Oct. 23, 2026, through March 18, 2028, for bookings made June 4-17, 2026.

P&O also set low deposits at £49 per person for applicable Select Price and Early Saver holidays of up to 13 nights and £99 per person for selected sailings of 14 to 23 nights. That offer applies to bookings made before June 30, 2026, for cruises departing between Sept. 1, 2026, and March 30, 2028.

“With up to £500 to spend onboard and low deposits there’s a strong value story for customers,” said Ruth Venn, P&O Cruises associate vice president of sales and distribution. She added that the package is “a really strong sell for travel agents” because flights, luggage arrangements and the cruise product are included.

One P&O example is a 14-night Eastern Caribbean Islands fly-cruise on Iona departing Nov. 12, 2027, with a roundtrip Barbados itinerary and calls at Basseterre, Tortola, St. Maarten, Fort de France, Antigua, Castries and Grenada. Prices start at £2,649 per person for two guests sharing a balcony cabin, with a £99-per-person deposit and £500 onboard spending money per cabin.

P&O is also running its Summer Sizzle incentive for Shine Reward Club travel agents, with four £150 gift vouchers being drawn during June for qualifying 2026 or 2027 Select Price bookings made June 1-30.
