AIDA Cancels Winter 2027-28 Middle East Cruises
Affected guests who rebook by December 31, 2026, will receive a voucher worth ten percent of the previous cabin price, with replacement voyages opening at the end of July.
Rostock-based AIDA Cruises has canceled its winter 2027-28 Middle East program, saying the regional situation cannot be assessed reliably enough to keep the deployment on sale. The decision gives guests and sales partners more time to rebook after the line made the same move for winter 2026-27 earlier this year.
Affected guests will receive a voucher worth 10 percent of the previous cabin price if they make a new booking by December 31, 2026. AIDA is steering customers toward alternative sailings in the Caribbean, the Canary Islands and Northern Europe.
The replacement options include cruises from Hamburg to Norway, the Benelux countries and the Atlantic coast en route to the Canary Islands. AIDAperla is scheduled to operate Northern Europe sailings from Kiel, while short Scandinavia cruises from Warnemunde will also be available.
AIDA said further details on the new itineraries will be released at the end of July, when the replacement voyages open for booking. The line included no executive statement in the announcement.
Earlier this year, the Carnival Corporation brand canceled its winter 2026-27 Middle East season and substituted European itineraries from Kiel aboard AIDAprima.
