Viking Adds Six-Night China Extension to Four Asia Cruises
The extension includes two hotel nights in each city, 13 guided tours and 16 meals, plus economy flights between selected cities and airport transfers.
Viking is offering a six-night Ultimate China land extension before or after four ocean cruise itineraries, with stays in Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai. Prices start at AU$6,799 per person.
The package includes two hotel nights in each city, 13 guided tours and 16 meals, with a Viking tour director accompanying the program. Economy-class flights between selected cities and airport transfers are also included.
The extension is available with North Pacific Passage, Japan Discovery, Far Eastern Horizons and Southeast Asia Horizons. Japan Discovery operates round-trip from Tokyo, following a route around Japan and across the Sea of Japan.
In Beijing, guests visit the Great Wall of China and Tiananmen Square. The Xi’an stay includes the Terracotta Warriors, while the Shanghai program takes in the Bund, the city’s historic waterfront district, as well as the modern city.
The lead-in fare applies to selected June and July departures. Certain departures between May and October are priced from AU$7,499 per person. Rates and availability depend on the ocean voyage and departure date. Viking did not include an executive comment with the announcement.
