Trafalgar Seeks Past Guest to Christen Dreamer on Seine Debut

Eligible past guests must submit a meaningful Trafalgar travel story online, where full eligibility rules and judging criteria are published.

Trafalgar has launched The Great Godmother Search, a hunt among past guests for the godmother of the 126-guest Trafalgar Dreamer, which will debut on the Seine in April 2027. Entries close October 29, 2026.

The selected traveler will christen the ship and join its inaugural voyage. If the winning application names a travel advisor, that advisor will also receive a complimentary place on the sailing.

Eligible former guests are invited to share a meaningful story or memory from their travels with Trafalgar. Applications are made online, where Trafalgar publishes the full eligibility requirements, judging criteria and the campaign’s official terms and conditions. The company is encouraging advisors to share the opportunity with clients, but is asking them not to submit applications on their guests’ behalf.

Melissa DaSilva, deputy CEO and chief sales officer of TTC Tour Brands, said the campaign would celebrate the connections guests have made through travel and give one of those travelers a role in welcoming the vessel. “Our travel advisors are an important part of those journeys, and we wanted to recognize their role in orchestrating these memorable experiences,” she said.

The search follows earlier guest selections for Trafalgar’s river fleet: Cassie Estrella-Roca became godmother of Trafalgar Verity, while Kate McIntosh took the role for Trafalgar Reverie.

Dreamer will enter service on the new “Best of the Seine with Paris & Normandy” itinerary.
