StarCruises has mapped out an expanded 2026 schedule for Star Voyager, adding a mix of short getaways, five-night destination cruises and one-way repositioning voyages across Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur (via Port Klang).

The program also includes a February call in mainland China: Xiamen officially marked the start of its 2026 cruise season on Feb. 19 as Star Voyager docked at Xiamen International Cruise Terminal with more than 2,200 passengers arriving from Hong Kong.

Local officials and port authority representatives joined a terminal ceremony to greet the vessel, describing the arrival as an early sign of international cruise itineraries resuming after recent market changes. Officials from the Xiamen Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau also framed the call as part of a broader push to build a stronger cruise ecosystem and encourage repeat visitation.

“The arrival of the Star Voyager is a positive indicator for Xiamen’s tourism and port development in 2026,” a representative from the Xiamen Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau said. “We are committed to creating a cruise-friendly ecosystem that encourages repeat visits and longer stays in the city.”

Star Voyager is scheduled to make additional regional sailings to Xiamen during the spring as part of its Hong Kong-based operations, according to the itinerary details released by StarCruises.

Five-night destination cruises from Hong Kong in March, April and May

StarCruises’ spring lineup includes three five-night sailings from Hong Kong aboard Star Voyager, pairing Hong Kong departures with calls in Japan’s Okinawa islands, Vietnam’s coast, and Sanya in China. The ports highlighted include Vietnam’s Halong Bay and Da Nang, and destinations in Japan such as Ishigaki and Miyakojima.

Michael Goh, president of StarDream Cruises, said the line is using the added destination options to broaden what is available from Hong Kong. “We are delighted to introduce these special 5 Night cruises from Hong Kong as part of our continued commitment to offering more exciting and diverse vacation options for our guests,” Goh said.

Goh added that the mix is designed to pair destination variety with the ship’s onboard offering. “With the addition of Okinawa, Vietnam and Sanya, travellers can look forward to discovering stunning destinations while enjoying the vibrant onboard experiences aboard Star Voyager,” he said.

May 22 to June 26: Southeast Asia program from Singapore and Port Klang

The deployment includes two-, three- and five-night itineraries calling in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam, with newly added ports such as Con Son, Tioman, Bali (Benoa) and Lombok alongside established stops including Phuket and George Town in Malaysia.

Goh said the aim is to balance fresh calls with familiar favorites. “By introducing new ports of call including Con Son, Tioman, Bali and Lombok, we are bringing fresh discoveries to our itineraries while enhancing the appeal of well-loved destinations,” he said.

One-way repositioning voyages connect Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore and Port Klang

In addition to roundtrip cruises, StarCruises has scheduled one-way itineraries that reposition Star Voyager between homeports, connecting Hong Kong with Vietnam and Singapore, with an onward option to continue to Port Klang.

Before the Southeast Asia program begins, Star Voyager is set for two additional Hong Kong departures: a two-night High Seas Cruise on May 1, 2026, and a three-night Sanya Cruise on May 3, 2026.

The ship is then scheduled to depart Hong Kong on May 17, 2026, call at Nha Trang, and arrive in Singapore on May 21, 2026. StarCruises said the itinerary is structured to allow onward travel options, either ending in Singapore or continuing to Kuala Lumpur via Port Klang on May 22, 2026.

Later, Star Voyager is scheduled to sail from Singapore on June 28, 2026, calling at Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang before arriving in Hong Kong on July 3, 2026. StarCruises also outlined an additional embarkation option for guests joining in Vietnam: a June 30 departure from Ho Chi Minh City (via Dong Nai) for a three-night sailing to Nha Trang and Hong Kong, arriving at Hong Kong’s Ocean Terminal.

With the spring Hong Kong cruises and the May-to-June Southeast Asia deployment now set, the next milestones on the schedule include the first five-night Hong Kong departure on March 22 and the start of Singapore and Port Klang sailings on May 22.
