Silversea Adds PerryGolf Packages to 2027-28 Voyages
PerryGolf was founded in 1984 and began golf cruises in 1997, typically managing about fifteen cruises annually for groups of forty to sixty guests.
Silversea will add golf-focused cruise packages on selected 2027 and 2028 ocean voyages through a new partnership with PerryGolf. The first announced departures pair Silversea sailings in the British Isles, the Mediterranean, Australia and New Zealand with arranged golf access, practice time, dining options, transfers and an informal one-day tournament with awards.
The program brings PerryGolf’s managed golf cruises onto Silversea’s ocean fleet, with initial sailings scheduled on Silver Spirit, Silver Ray and Silver Moon. Guests may travel with their own clubs or rent equipment for the golf program.
“Our partnership with PerryGolf extends that standard to golf,” said Bert Hernandez, president of Silversea, adding that the package is intended to place guests on “some of the world’s most celebrated courses” with logistics handled for them.
First courses include links, resort and Southern Hemisphere venues
The announced course list includes Royal Liverpool Golf Club in England, Castle Stuart Golf Links in Scotland, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club in Spain, Tasmania Golf Club in Australia and Royal Wellington Golf Club in New Zealand, among others.
“From the British Isles to the Mediterranean and the South Pacific, these voyages are designed for travelers who want the golf to be every bit as memorable as the journey itself,” said Alex Shattuck, CEO of PerryGolf.
PerryGolf was founded in 1984 and began operating golf cruises in 1997. Its cruise program has been associated with Azamara since 2011, and the company typically runs about 15 golf cruises annually, with PerryGolf staff managing onboard and course logistics for groups generally numbering 40 to 60 guests.
Three regional itineraries lead the launch
The first listed departure is an Aug. 14-25, 2027, round-trip Southampton sailing aboard Silver Spirit. The British Isles itinerary includes play at Royal Liverpool and Prince’s Golf Club in Kent before continuing to Northern Ireland for Portstewart and to Scotland for Castle Stuart and Dumbarnie Links.
Silver Ray will operate a Barcelona round trip from Oct. 25 to Nov. 3, 2027. The Mediterranean golf program begins at Camiral’s Stadium Course, continues to Las Colinas on Spain’s southeastern coast and then moves to Mallorca for Son Gual and Alcanada.
The third announced itinerary is a Jan. 29-Feb. 12, 2028, Sydney-to-Auckland sailing aboard Silver Moon. The 14-day program begins at Tasmania Golf Club before continuing to Otago Golf Club and Royal Wellington, followed by Cape Kidnappers and Kauri Cliffs.
Silversea did not disclose pricing for the golf packages. The line said the initial sailings are the start of a wider PerryGolf collection, and additional 2028 golf voyages are expected to be announced soon.
