Seven Seas Prestige Adds Padel Court and Putting Green

The top-deck sports area pairs a competition-sized padel and pickleball court with an eighteen-hole putting green, plus mini-bowling and covered ping pong.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has detailed the Solara Sports Deck and Solara Pool Deck for Seven Seas Prestige, adding a 24-hour sports venue and a two-level pool complex to the newbuild scheduled to enter service in December 2026. The ship is under construction at Fincantieri in Italy and will be the first vessel in Regent’s Prestige Class.

The outdoor spaces are part of Regent’s product rollout for its largest ship, a 76,550-gross-ton newbuild planned for 822 guests at double occupancy in 411 all-suite accommodations, with 630 crew. Regent described Solara Sports Deck as its first named sports deck and said it will introduce features new to the line, including a sunrise-and-sunset yoga area and digital gaming.

Sports deck adds courts, gaming and wellness space

The Solara Sports Deck will sit at the top of the ship on Deck 14, with a competition-sized court for padel and pickleball, an 18-hole putting green, and space for dedicated wellness classes and social tournaments. The aft section will include digital shuffleboard tables, mini-bowling, chess, baggo and covered ping pong. Regent said the sports and gaming spaces will be used for both organized events and individual play.

“The Solara Sports Deck is a testament to how we are rethinking every inch of our new ship class,” said Wesley D’Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Pool deck connects outdoor space with dining venues

The Solara Pool Deck will center on a 48-by-29-foot pool on Deck 12, set across two levels with two whirlpool spas. The Solara Pool Grill, including a pizzeria, and Solara Pool Bar will be located nearby.

The upper pool deck on Deck 14 will lead to two specialty dining venues: Pacific Rim, the ship’s pan-Asian restaurant, and Azure, a new specialty restaurant serving mezze-style Mediterranean cuisine.

Prestige program extends beyond the maiden season

Seven Seas Prestige’s inaugural season is planned with 13 cruises in the Caribbean and Europe. The maiden voyage is a 14-night transatlantic sailing from Barcelona to Miami scheduled to depart Dec. 13, 2026.

Other announced Prestige programming includes 64 Culinary Arts Kitchen classes and 25 Epicurean Explorer Tours across sailings through March 2029. Those classes and tours carry an additional cost. They can be reserved before sailing through guests’ online accounts.

In 2027, Seven Seas Prestige is scheduled to host Regent’s first Spotlight Voyage on Wellness & Longevity with Elemis, a 10-night Trieste-to-Barcelona sailing departing Aug. 21 with expert-led wellness sessions, BeMoved classes, mindfulness programming and Blue Zone-inspired culinary content.
