Nicko Cruises Opens Vasco da Gama Summer 2028 Bookings
Two 13-night Baltic departures from Kiel in June and July will call in Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Poland, while five Mediterranean cruises are due in January 2027.
Nicko Cruises has opened bookings for its summer 2028 ocean program aboard Vasco da Gama, with itineraries across Northern and Western Europe ranging from 13 to 23 days. The deployment covers the Baltic Sea, Scandinavia, the British Isles and Arctic destinations.
The program continues the company’s emphasis on smaller ports, varied shore excursions and extended time ashore. Managing Director Guido Laukamp presented the deployment during a digital press conference, and the sailings are detailed in Nicko’s Ocean Voyages 2028 brochure.
The Baltic schedule includes two 13-night departures from Kiel in June and July, calling at destinations in Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Poland, among other countries. A separate Baltic sailing in August includes Gdansk, Bornholm, Malmo and Copenhagen.
Three Western European itineraries are scheduled for May, August and September. Across those departures, Vasco da Gama will visit the British Isles, Spain’s Atlantic coast, the Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal.
The northern program includes a 23-day Arctic voyage visiting Iceland, Spitsbergen and the North Cape. Norwegian fjord cruises will also operate, with departures from both Kiel and Hamburg.
Nicko plans to announce five additional cruises in January 2027. Those sailings will cover Mediterranean destinations.
