Harmony of the Seas Adds 57 Cabins in Cadiz Drydock
Parts of the two-level Wonderland restaurant became 29 staterooms, while a new forward block added seven panoramic suites and 21 additional cabins.
Almaco Group has completed an accommodation expansion that added 57 suites and staterooms to Royal Caribbean International’s Harmony of the Seas at Navantia’s shipyard in Cadiz, Spain. The work finished in May 2026.
Almaco converted parts of the two-level Wonderland restaurant into 29 staterooms and built a new accommodation block in the forward section of the ship, adding seven panoramic suites and 21 other staterooms. It also fitted the Music Hall with a noise-reduction ceiling beneath the new cabin area.
Harmony of the Seas entered the Cadiz yard in April for a scheduled 44-day drydock. Almaco said its on-site workforce reached 240 people, and the company coordinated shipments totaling approximately 86 TEUs of material to the Spanish port. Preparations took about seven months, covering engineering and design work, purchasing, project planning and coordination with Royal Caribbean and other contractors.
The approximately 227,000-gross-ton Oasis-class ship entered service in 2016 after construction at Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France. Its listed passenger capacity is 5,479 at double occupancy and up to 6,780 at maximum occupancy.
