Celebrity Cruises Earns 25 Wine Spectator Awards for 2026

Celebrity said the awards bring its cumulative Wine Spectator count to 165 over 14 years, with recognition across Edge, Solstice and Millennium Series ships.

Celebrity Cruises earned 25 Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards for 2026, its highest annual total, with 17 Best of Award of Excellence honors and eight Award of Excellence recognitions. Celebrity said the result raises its cumulative Wine Spectator count to 165 honors across 14 consecutive years and supports its claim to the most awarded wine program at sea.

The 2026 result is up from 21 honors in 2025, when Celebrity received five Best of Award of Excellence awards for Edge Series restaurants. This year, the line more than tripled that higher-tier count while extending recognition across Edge, Solstice and Millennium Series ships.

Awards spread across three ship series

The recognized restaurants include Tuscan on Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent and Celebrity Beyond; Cyprus on Celebrity Apex; and Grand Cuvée on Celebrity Silhouette. Two first-time winners were Trattoria Rossa, introduced with the upgraded Celebrity Solstice in March 2026, and Mosaic on Celebrity Xcel, which set sail in November 2025.

Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud was also recognized. The restaurant, located on Celebrity Beyond, Celebrity Ascent and Celebrity Xcel, recently received a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating, the first restaurant at sea to receive that designation.

“With up to 32 food and beverage venues onboard, we offer something for every guest’s preference,” said Jan Sorensen, Celebrity Cruises’ vice president of food and beverage operations.

What the Wine Spectator tiers mean

Wine Spectator separates its Restaurant Awards into three categories: Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence and Grand Award. The Award of Excellence category requires wine lists with at least 75 selections; Best of Award of Excellence restaurants typically have 350 or more selections and broader regional and producer depth.

For 2026, Wine Spectator listed 2,008 Award of Excellence winners and 1,700 Best of Award of Excellence winners worldwide, along with 97 Grand Award recipients. Celebrity’s 17 Best of Award of Excellence wins therefore place most of its 2026 recognitions in the middle tier of the publication’s awards structure.

Onboard wine program

Celebrity’s onboard wine program, known as On Cloud Wine, includes more than 500 wine selections carried onboard and a trained sommelier in every restaurant. The line also offers Food and Wine Pairing Workshops and World Wine Tours.
